"What are you doing?" Sasuke startled me, running in and out of nowhere, finding me sulking in the courtyard as I sat amongst the poor souls of my depressed fan club. "You're supposed to be retaking that exam you failed, Kakashi's looking for you."

"I'm being a responsible role model and looking after my fans." I blurted, leaning on the back some random guy who sat behind me. "They look up to me, Sasuke. They must not suffer by themselves."

"Naruto, the exam."

"Exams, Sasuke. What do they really matter? What is it exactly that they...examine?" I asked, using a twig to draw random circles on the ground. "Do they make you who you are in life? What is life, anyways?"

Sasuke rolled his eyes, "Stop being an idiot and hurry up."

"No, I'd like to hang out with these guys since they feel my pain. Their souls ache like mine and their pain is my pain." I looked over at one of the few guys I knew. "Right, Haku?"

"Not really, I'm only here because this is my usual reading spot. You guys came out of nowhere." Haku kept their gaze down on the pages of their book.

"The poor thing, they're crushed to the point of being sane. I must be responsible, Sasuke." I said, looking over at Haku and pretending to feel pity for them. "Tell me Sasuke, what is love for you?"

"Okay, that's it. Get up." Sasuke shook his head at my foolishness and grabbed my arm, pulling me up. "I get it: you and Sai aren't actually dating, now can we go to Kakashi's and retake that exam?"

"You knew the entire time?!" I screeched.

"Sasuke!" The boys lifted their heads, "you mean boss isn't actually going out with our Naruto?!"

Sasuke laughed, pointing at me with his finger. "Come on, this idiot thinks he has a chance with me. You think he'd give up that easy and go with Sai?"

The boys shook their heads.

"That doesn't mean you have a chance, by the way." He said towards me, but my smile never left.

"Great, now can you guys leave?" Haku asked in annoyance. To happy to be affected by the annoyed being, the boys all got up and one by one hugged poor, sane Haku before skipping away, all their hopes revived.

"Fly, my children, fly!" I said dramatically. "Come on, Haku, you too, be free!"

Haku shut their book forcefully, a scowl in place as they got up to leave.

"So can we go take that exam now?" Sasuke was the one annoyed now as Haku left.

"Way to ruin the mood, this was supposed to be the part where you let me run into your arms and you hold me up high in the air and tell me I actually do have a chance." I smiled a cheeky smile, following Sasuke into the building.

"Keep dreaming." Sasuke scoffed. "Now hurry up. Kakashi said he was only going to wait for you till three."

"What? No, I'm not going." I stopped walking and leaned against the wall.

"What?"

"You heard me, I'm going to the arcade with Kiba and I promised to meet him there." I started walking away, however, Sasuke was quick to strangle me by dragging me by my collar all the way to Iruka's stupid boyfriend who I'm pretty sure hates me.

"You're retaking that test."

"L. O. L, nope." I pouted, looking away and resisting Sasuke's pushes to go inside. Heh.

"You're going!" Sasuke grunted as he pushed me in, though I clung to the door frame.

"Sasuke, Naruto, stop fooling around and get in here!" Kakashi scolded. "Naruto you better be ready, I'm not giving you another chance if you fail this one."

"You won't have to because I'm not taking it!" I said, still being stubborn.

"You're taking it, Uzumaki!" Sasuke shouted, still struggling to push me in.

"This isn't how I want to take it!"

"Stop being a perv and go take that test!"

"I didn't even mean it that way, that was all you!"

"Shut up and go in!"

"No!"

"Yes!"

"No!"

"Yes!"

"No!"

"Alright then. No." Sasuke smirked.

"Yesss...no! Ha! I almost fell for it!"

"Get in and pass this exam and I'll let you sleep over at my house!" Sasuke stumbled and fell to the floor as I let go of the frames and stopped fighting his pushes, my attention fully on him.

"Really?" I asked, "You mean it?"

He groaned, still laying on the floor and smacking his forehead for blurting out such an offer. "Yes, but, you have to pass with a perfect score."

"Kakashi, where's the exam?" I asked, "I have to hurry up and finish so I can begin packing for a sleepover!"

Sasuke groaned again, "You're such a kid."

A/N: Somewhere, in some arcade, waited the lonesome Kiba who was promised company. Giving up on waiting as the clock read five, be let out a sigh and walked home.

My poor bby Kiba doesn't get enough love and attention. ;-;
