"So you're saying you might transfer?"

"I might, yes."

"When?"

"Probably this coming Monday."

A short silence.

"So is that it? You got bored of our school?"

I looked at him, deciding if he looked the least saddened by the lie I told him or if he was taking it well. Judging by his answer, I'd assume he was upset, and between looking like he was in a rush or mourning, I decided Sasuke looked like he was just lost. I didn't exactly tell him I was transferring, so don't look at me that way, okay? I simply said : maybe, as in: I might, probably, undecided. Key words, people, key words!

Think of this as a little test for him to actually confess to me before I make a decision. Sooner or later he was going to confess, I just knew it. He was going to have no other way if he didn't want me to leave. Or unless, he wanted me to leave...

Nah, he wouldn't want that. Still, it was taking him a bit longer than I thought for him to confess. Maybe he's shy?

"I'm not that bored of it." I answered. "I just figure that maybe, if the school tour is nice, then I might. I mean, dad seems to have really outdone himself this time." I smiled, grabbing one of the pamphlets Sai left on the coffee table. "Look at this, man. I mean come on, dark blue walls? Swimming pool?" He rolled his eyes and I chuckled. He does that a lot now that I notice, and it's adorably cute.

"You're an idiot, you know." He said, grabbing the paper from my hands and looking at it. "Open cafeteria? Itachi's school was better than this."

"Yeah, but that's because your dad owned the school." I reminded. "My dad tends to avoid anything with the Uchiha name, if you haven't noticed."

He nodded. "I realized that." He chuckled. "Still, you do know that if you transfer, we won't be able to see each other often."

"I thought—"

"Look at the time!" Dad jumped in. "My clock must've been broken if I let you guys have five minutes and twelve extra seconds to yourselves." I laughed, shaking my head at how my dad was while Sasuke looked defeated. "That's all the time we have here." Dad said, rolling up the sleeves of his dress shirt.

Kakashi and Iruka stayed in the kitchen, both talking about their own business while Ibiki and Kiba joined us in the living room. I watched how Sai, still looking a bit off, walked up the stairs towards the upper bathrooms.

"Now, Uchiha, you're going to answer me some questions." Dad said, smiling as he pushed me over to Ibiki.

"Dad, give it up." I laughed. "Fugaku Uchiha is not trying to kidnap me." I said with a wink towards Sasuke.

"That's what this is about?" Sasuke asked, finally realizing why my dad was always treating him suspiciously. "You think my dad is—"

"Shut it!" Dad shouted, stomping his foot. What is he, a five year old? "Naruto, go along with Kiba while daddy here takes care of business, okay?"

I looked at him and sighed. Kiba walked over to me, where I stood next to Ibiki against the wall. Sasuke looked scared as my dad sat across from him, the poor kid. I smiled, shaking my head.

"So, Uchiha." My dad began. "Are you aware of your father's outing with the senator last Wednesday?"

Sasuke looked at my father in surprise. "Nobody was supposed to know about that meeting." He said, raising an eyebrow. "Are you spying on—"
