"Don't flatter yourself," Sasuke finally replied after a few long seconds.

"Oh, the denial in that sentence," I teased. "Face it, Uchiha. You're dying to have me there bothering you. It's only been a few days and look how much you miss me." I smiled, hearing Sasuke scoff on the other line.

"On the contrary, Naruto. It's finally quiet around here and I'm better able to concentrate in class. Didn't you say you were going to stop bothering me? I can't believe I let you kiss me and you're still doing it." A few gasps were heard as he said that and I could only imagine the guys all gathering up around him with shocked expressions.

"It's happening!" One of them shouted, followed by cheering.

"It happened!" Another one shouted soon after.

I shook my head and smiled. "I'll stop," I said. "I just wanted to hear your voice before I brainwash myself to stop going after you." I joked, but... there was a tinge of pain as I thought about it.

I had laughed, but then soon realized that that statement would soon become true. Somewhere in my mind, I had the thought that perhaps... it was best I actually forget about Sasuke. And although it pained me, somewhere in this head of mine was the idea that I was ready to accept that fact. Sai had mentioned something about this and I guess it had finally made me realize that I should try and forget, or at least calm down a little.

I had to make a final decision.

"Good luck with that." Sasuke chuckled, and I appreciated that laugh as it took me out of my thoughts. "You think it's that easy to forget about me?"

"Can't hurt to try..." I said, adding a faint laugh at the end but it faded too soon as Sai grabbed the phone from me—more like snatched it from my hand.

"My phone. my rules," He said towards me, then held the phone to his ear. "Uchiha," He greeted into the phone. "How's it going?"

I could then hear Sasuke shouting at Sai and quite frankly, I was surprised by it even though I figured they weren't on good terms.

"No, not at all. I am getting close, though. Naruto just so happens to be at the pool with me, so it's casual." Sai winked over at me and I frowned a bit. He chuckled, then began walking to get away from me but I followed. "My, my, Uchiha. Quite the colorful vocabulary you got there. But to put your concerns at ease, we're not. At least, not yet. We do live in the same house, though. I'll be getting the full experience of seeing him first thing in the morning."

More shouting ensued from the phone. Sai kept picking up speed, smiling at me as I tried to catch up.

"Tone it down, Uchiha. You wouldn't want people to think you're...jealous." Sai said and I immediately stopped.

Jealous? Sasuke is?

Sai looked over at me, noticing I had stopped following and sent me yet another wink along with a smile as if he had everything under control. "I can't believe you, Uchiha." His voice had an underlying fakeness to it. "I mean, I can't believe you kept Naruto to yourself. Do you know how intriguing he looks just out of the pool? It's a sight..." He eyed me and suddenly I felt an uncomfortable heat rush to my cheeks.

"SAI!" I shouted, suddenly embarrassed and now giving it my all to chase him and grab the phone out of his hands.

Sai laughed, the bastard. Suddenly, before he neared the slippery part, he stopped and held a hand out, evidently stopping me and now that we were far from the guys, put the phone on speaker.

"—one else! Do you hear me? He doesn't even love you, he loves me and he's made it very clear far many times than you can even count! Don't come to me with all this bullshit because I know for a fact he has no interest in you or anyone else for that matter, now give the phone back to him."
