My phone decided to be stupid and delete the final 300ish words from the last part... fml.

You were on your way to find Kelly during school hours when you (literally) ran into Nico.

"Oh, h-hey, y/m/n, I was looking for you!" He said somewhat bashfully, hands hidden behind his back. "I wanted to ask you if you'd like to, maybe, go to prom with me?"

You smiled and nodded, your heartbeat racing faster. You opened your mouth to ask him the question that had been plaguing your mind, but at that moment he offered you what was in his hands.

It was a deep purple rose, streaked with black. The stem was completely stripped of thorns, and nestled into a small black vase.

"This is absolutely beautiful, Nico," you breathed, taking the vase from him.

"So, y/m/n, what were you going to say to me?" He inquired softly, peering at you almost shyly.

"Would you like, possibly, I don't know, be interested in being my date mate?" You asked awkwardly.

"Date mate?" He questioned, tilting his head to the side.

"It's a gender neutral term for the person you're dating. Don't doubt me."

"Sure, I'll be your date mate and you'll be my boyfriend. That's right, isn't it?"

"Yeah. That's right, unless you want to be called my boyfriend. I don't really mind as long as I'm not misgendering you or using the wrong pronouns." You shrugged, slinging an arm around Nico's shoulders.

And honestly, you thought the world was pretty great.

Okay, I apologize for the somewhat shitty ending, but I hit a roadblock.

I'm asking some opinions for the next part. Should I write:

A) Transgender!Character x Reader

B) Demi-romantic!Character x Reader

C) Character x Asexual!Reader

(And a character to write these for would be highly appreciated.)

Also! Would anyone be interested in seeing my OCs as a possible love interest?
