⑩Sugar Highs ((Leo Valdez x Reader))

"Come on, Leo!" You shout, running ahead of your best friend.

"But, ____, I don't wanna!" He yells up to you.

You sit down by the lake, and wait for Leo to catch up. He does, and sits down next to you.

"So, anything new?" You ask, drawing your legs up to your chest and wrapping your arms around them.

"Not really..." He trails off, laying down next to you.

You sigh, and dig in your backpack for the bottle of koolaid you stole from Percy Jackson.

"What's that?" Leo asks, raising his head up.

You take a drink, and hand him the bottle. "Some koolaid."

You wait until he takes a drink to finish your sentence. "I stole it from Percy, and he got it from Dakota at Camp Jupiter. He's the guy who won't lay off the sugar."

He spits out what he can, and glares at you for a moment. "Thanks, ____. You're a true friend."

"Oh, I'm a good friend, not like Reyna, Octavian, Larry, Clarisse...." You go on and on, seemingly unable to stop. Eventually, you feel yourself crashing, falling off the sugar high.

You start to droop, and Leo notices. He stands up, and packs up your backpack, then slings it over his shoulder. He then bends over, and gathers you into his arms.

"What was that for?" You yawn, wrapping your arms around his neck.

"You're about ready to fall asleep, and I didn't want to leave you out there." He replies, smiling as you cuddle closer, laying your head on his shoulder.

"Thank you." You mutter, shutting your eyes. You trust him not to drop you.

"No problem." He whispers, pausing for a moment. You open your eyes, just as Leo leans in and kisses your forehead.

You giggle, and he blushes. "S-sorry..." He mumbles.

"Don't be." You raise up slightly, and kiss his cheek.

Don't you have a story to tell your friends on the morning?

Let me just say this.

Sugar highs are an awesome way to get your crush to notice you.

That is all.

PS. Sugar highs don't work all the time. Oh, and one last couple things.

1) I decided not to do requests, because that fucks up my creative process.

2) I deleted my Unique roleplay, because I have a better idea, for an amazing thing that gets little appreciation.
