④Soft Kitty ((Nico di Angelo x Reader)) Inspired by The Big Bang Theory

You walk to your boyfriend, Nico's, cabin, with a bag full of random stuff. Nico's sick, and you want to take care of him.

You knock on the door, then enter as you hear a violent cough.

"Nico?" You call out, stepping inside the door.

"Over here, ____." He replies, as he coughs again.

You go over, and sit beside him, despite his protesting.

"No, you don't need to be with me right now, ____. I don't want you sick!" He says, reaching up to touch your face.

"I'm staying, Ghost King. I brought some stuff for us to watch." You reply, looking down at him. You brush some hair out of his eyes, before standing up and getting the TV and DVD player ready. Placing the disc in, you sit back down with the remote, and smile as the theme song plays on the first episode.

You are watching "The Big Bang Theory", one of your and Nico's favorite shows.

You find yourself spouting quotes along with him and the characters on the screen. As the day goes on, you sit with Nico on the bed, and converse back and forth.

Your favorite episode starts playing. In this one, Sheldon is sick, and asks Penny to take care of him.

Nico glances over at you, and smirks. "____, will you sing 'Soft Kitty' to me?" He says, replacing Penny's name with yours.

You smile, and reply. "Sure." You clear your throat, and, blushing, begin to sing. "♪Soft kitty, warm kitty, little ball of fur. Happy kitty, sleepy kitty, purr, purr, purr. ♪"

"Thanks for staying with me, ____." Nico smiles, resting his head on your shoulder.

"Where else would I be, Ghost King?" You smile back, leaning your head on his.

You fast forward through a couple more episodes, and find your other favorite. Penny falls in the shower, and Sheldon has to help her.

"Why do you have the Chinese character for 'soup' tattooed on your right buttock?" Nico grins up at you, quoting Sheldon.

You blush, but reply as Penny. "It's not 'soup', it's 'courage'."

"No, it isn't. But I do suppose it does take courage to demonstrate that kind of dedication to soup."

"How'd you see it? You said you wouldn't look."

"Sorry. As I told you, the hero always peeks."

At the end of this exchange, you hear someone bust up laughing. You turn quickly, to see Leo, Annabeth, and Piper standing in the doorway.

"Just how much did you hear?" You ask, your voice high pitched and wavering.

Leo is still laughing, bent over at the waist. "We heard it all, ____." He replies, before turning to Nico. "When did you see?"

Nico blushes worse than you, but keeps a straight face. "As I said, the hero always peeks."

I cracked up so much writing this one. The Big Bang Theory is my favorite TV show, and I have so many quotes locked into my mind. So, here.
