"Okay, Leo. I'm going to help you." You smile.

"Help me with what, ____?" Leo says, giving you a confused look

You giggle. "I'm going to teach you some stuff, so you might be a bit smarter than Percy."

"Fine."

"Okay, Schrödinger's cat. This guy put a cat in a box with a vial of poison. Without opening the box, you have no indication that the cat is alive or dead. So, in theory, the cat is both alive and dead."

"Wha?"

You smack your forehead, and move onto the next thing. "Möbius strips."

"I see your mouth moving, but nothing that's coming out makes sense." He remarks.

"A Möbius strip is a piece of paper, that you twist slightly, then tape the ends together. When you run your finger around it, you can keep going forever, without having to lift your finger to go to the other side." You say, demonstrating as you speak.

"I'm never going to understand this, ____. Keep going, though. It's fun watching your mouth move." Leo grins, as you throw a pencil at him.

"Evolution. Basically, it means that we started out as lesser life forms, and we changed over millions of years into what we are now."

"Okay, there's one thing I can understand."

"Okay, if you understand it, what did we evolve from?"

"Um...fish?" He says, scrunching up his face.

You giggle, and kiss his forehead. "No, primates."

"Are you calling me a monkey?" He asks, in mock anger.

"You are a monkey, but you're my monkey." You grin, and wrap your arms around him.
