You took a deep breath and jumped into the water with him.

He grabbed you and held you close as he set you on the dock. "It's okay. I'm not going to let anything happen to you."

He climbed up beside you, and put his hand on the small of your back. "Now...Sink or swim!" He yelled as he shoved you in the water.
