Meeting Him
Leo Valdez
You walked slowly home from school, kicking your feet and scuffing your shoes. Today had been pretty rough for you, what with (jerk's name here) bothering you and all. You stepped off the curb to cross the street, when a burst of hot air hit you. You looked over, and a boy with curly hair stood there.
"Hey, girl. Are you always this hot, or is it just me?" He laughed, acting like it was an inside joke.
"Sorry, but I'm not supposed to talk to strangers." You replied frigidly, turning away.
"Hey, now! Don't just leave! That's rude!" The guy jumped in front of you, and held out his hand, which was stained with grease and motor oil.
You stood there, and stared at his hand for a moment, before shaking it. The boy smiled, and laughed. "I'm Leo Valdez, bad boy supreme."
You cracked a smile, and laughed a bit. "I'm (Y/N) (Last name), and you kinda look more like an elf than a bad boy."
Leo pouted, and wrung his hands together. "B-but..."
"What? I'm telling the truth!" You grinned, walking past him.
"I actually have a question!" Leo yelped, pulling on your sleeve.
"What is it?" You sighed, turning back around.
"I'm kinda lost, and was wondering if I could go with you to your place to eat. My 'buddy' Jason ditched me." He air quoted the word buddy.
You smiled, and ruffled up his brown curls. "Come on, Valdez."
