Kelly's POV~

After Aden hung up, i sat there staring at the wall for quite some time. Trying to rehearse tomorrow's meet up so i could be sure i wouldn't ruin anything. But there were so many ways it could go. I found that more of them were bad than were good. Slowly, without my own realization i fell asleep. And tonight i dreamt again of the faceless boy. we were on a couch that may have been in a room but since everything but myself, the couch and the boy without a face was pitch black, i could not tell. We kissed tonight, the faceless boy and I. Each moment seemed to last forever. Until i finally woke up with a start as my ipod alarm went off. "oh god." I pulled my blankets up over my face and hid for a few seconds. "Am i really going to meet him?" I don't know why i was making such a huge deal out of it. Slowly, i crawled out of bed and started trying to pick out what i wanted to wear. I chose my black skinny jeans with holes in the knees, my baggy supernatural t-shirt, my beanie and my beat up white converse. then i put on the usual makeup. I didn't want to look too sloppy but i also didn't want to look like i had made too much of an effort to look nice. After all there was a fifty-fifty chance i was going to get rejected today. After i finally finished getting ready i grabbed my iPod and earbuds then left my room. My mother was on the couch drinking tea and my father was outside loading i don't even know what into the car. "Where's Ron?" I asked as i poured myself a bowl of cereal. "He's still asleep." My mom answered. I delayed saying anything to finish my small breakfast. "Should i go wake him?" i asked her. My mom shook her head. "We still have an hour before we need to leave." She told me. I sighed and looked around the room. I couldn't let on that i was anxious to get to the fair because i did not think it wise to tell my parent's my plans. But maybe if i didn't give full specifics... "Hey mom..." I pulled out my iPod and pretended to be texting. "Do you think we could get there a little early? My friend Alyssa is going to be at the fair helping her father break down equipment. She wanted to know if we could meet up." I lied. Well, not really. I just pretended i intended on meeting one of my female friends so she would not require a chaperone for me. "So that's why you wanted to wake Ron up." My mom laughed and rose from her seat on the couch. "Sure. what time is she planning on being there?" She asked and glanced past me at the clock on the stove. "I'm not sure exactly but she told me she'd have some free time around noon. The fries place will still be open so i told her if things work out i'd walk across the festival grounds and meet her there." I felt very proud of myself for lying like that. "Okay. Go get your brother up then. I'll let your father know we need to hurry things up a bit." My mom called over her shoulder as she headed out the front door to find my dad. "YES!" i whispered and tried my hardest to resist the urge to start dancing my way across the room to my brother's door. "Rise and shine motherfucker!" I shouted and kicked Ron's door open. Upon my entry he jumped and pulled the blankets up above his mass of orange curls. "Kelly......" He whined when i flicked a light on and pulled the blankets away. "We don't have to leave for another hour." I rolled my eyes at his statement. "I'm meeting up with a friend at the festival so mom said we could leave early to ensure that i get enough time." Ron frowned and tried to interrupt me. "So get your ass out of bed." I added. "one; don't swear. mom and dad might hear you. Two: who are you meeting?" He grumbled and finally got out of bed. "They're outside arguing about something. they won't hear. And if you must know, i'm meeting Alyssa." I said before leaving his room. Maybe i should have stayed in there. Just as i came out my mother stomped back inside. "Goddamnit Aaron. You asshole!" She muttered. My dad must have done something to frustrate her yet again. Everybody always seemed to be getting on her nerves. And it was apparently just fine for her to get angry with us but if we showed any sort of negativity towards her, we might as well have attempted to murder God. I hated it. Fortunately Ron got ready in good time. "We are leaving soon." i texted Aden, and we left about twenty minutes thereafter. The whole ride north to the festival, i stayed quiet. Listening to my music and trying as best as i could not to start smiling and giggling when i thought about meeting up with Aden. Time seemed to slow to a fucking snail paced crawl. It seems to only do that when you are waiting for something. Upon arriving at the festival, we drove over to the building where entries were kept for pick up. Once i had obtained mine and put it in the car, I checked the clock on my iPod. Quarter till noon. "Mom!" I called across the dirt driveway where we parked the car. "What?" She called back and frowned at me. "I'm heading over to the fries place to meet Alyssa now!" I told her. She hesitated in replying. Then said; "how do you plan on getting back to us so we can leave?" I hadn't thought of that... "uh, Can you guys just pick me up at the fries place as you drive out?" i asked hopefully. "Yeah. that should work." She replied. "Okay. Thanks!" i called over my shoulder and dashed off down the long dirt drive before she had a chance to change her mind.
