My phone buzzes and wakes me up. I look at the time and it's 8am. The sun is shining very bright, right in my eyes. All I do is stretch, and slap a big smile on my face.

I walk over to my closet and pick out a pretty simple outfit; a black t-shirt, black shorts, a red and black flannel, and a black beanie. Next, I put everything on, obviously.

Then I head into the bathroom. I brush my teeth, wash my face, and put on my everyday makeup.

Once I finish with that, I go downstairs to grab a bowl of cereal. Again, from Andrew's expensive looking bowl he gave to me. I decide on Raisin Bran, and pour the cereal into the bowl. I put the box back in the cabinet, grab the milk, pour the milk in, then put my milk back in the fridge.

Jesus, making a bowl of cereal is hard enough. Am I right ladies?!

I sit on the couch and flip through the channels. Even though I watched the most recent episode of Breaking Bad, I'm going to watch that same episode again and attempt to not get bored of it because there's nothing else to watch.

I finally finish my delightful and well made breakfast (not), then put it in the dishwasher, cause let's be real here, I'm too lazy to wash my own dishes.

My body flops right back on the couch and I lay my stomach flat on the seating area.

~

I've been laying here for more than a couple hours, so I check the time; 11:47am. Yay, Jack will be here soon.

Ding dong

Never mind, sooner than I thought.

I get my lazy ass up and go to the door. I'm sure enough to be facing Jack.

Me: "Good morning!" I kiss him gently.

Jack: "Good morning. You sure seem to be in a good mood." He smiles.

Me: "Yeah, I am. It's a great day to be alive right now." I smile back.

Jack: "I like hearing you say that for once. It makes me very happy." He hugs me tight.

Me: "I know, it makes me happy to hear myself saying that too. And, shall we go?"

Jack: "Let's." I get my flannel from the hanger by the door and follow Jack out the door. "Lunch first, right?"

Me: "Yes. Brunch at Panera?" I smirk sneakily.

Jack: "YES bitch." He yells and takes one hand off the steering wheel to snap.

Me: "YES!" I snap back.

~

Jack and I head inside of Panera and take a seat. A waitress comes to us and asks for what we want.

Waitress: "Hi, welcome to Panera. Can I get you guys something to drink first?"

Jack: "Yes please, I'll have a medium orange juice."

Waitress: "Ahh, brunch huh?" She starts writing down on her note pad.

Jack: "Yes ma'm."

Waitress: "And for you?" She acted as if she didn't like me, and gave me a bratty attitude.

Me: "I'll do the same."

Waitress: "Okay, want to order the food now?"

Jack: "Yeah.. I'll have the chicken wrap with a side of scrambled eggs and crispy bacon." She nods.

Me: "I'll have-" She cuts me off.

Waitress: "Oh, sorry, we can only do food for one person at a time if we order the food with the drinks. Once I get this handsome guys' food here, I'll take your order." Jack looks at me confused.

Me: "Uh, okay?" I roll my eyes.

Jack: "Wait, excuse me?"

Waitress: "It's totally fine. It's not like we're gonna date or anything. Calm down." She leaves and all I do is roll my eyes once again.

Me: "Bitch."

Jack: "It'll be fine. We'll eat and get outta here."

Me: "Okay."

~

Our drinks come with Jack's food. The waitress sets the food down and gets out her notepad. Finally, she takes my order.

Waitress: "Okay, now what do you want to eat?" She rolls her eyes. Lots of eye rolling today it seems like.

Me: "I'll have a grilled cheese with a side of sunny side up eggs and regularly cooked bacon."

Waitress: "I'll be back with your food." She gives me a blank look and leaves.

Jack G: "YO YO YO! LOOK WHO'S IN THE HOUSE!" Oh my god.. He walks in with his arms raised in the air and he sees me for a quick second. "OOH AND IT'S MISS FUCK MCALLISTER!"

Jack B: "Go away, Gilinsky."

Jack G: "Oh, and Baran is here. You guys fuck yet?"

Jack B: "Is that any of your business?"

Jack G: "So you did?"

Jack B: "I just told you my answer."

Jack G: "It wasn't clear enough. But it is my business actually because she was my ex. I want to know if she's getting taken care of well."

Jack B: "Shut up. It's not like you ever treated her like she should be treated. I'm just lucky she has the faith to trust herself and stay happy knowing she went through you." He turns back around and reaches out to hold my hands. "It's okay Jenn, let's just get outta here." He whispers.

Jack and I get up from our seats with no money left on the table and just leave.
