Me: "Can we go to bed now?" I beg with a sad puppy face.
Jack: "If you want, let's go." He smiles and rubs my back gently with one hand.
We both walk up the stairs, holding onto the railings. My mom is gone for a couple weeks because of her job. All I have is Jack to take care of me. That's a good thing.
We walk over to the plain bright white colored bed. I lay on the right side while Jack lays on the left.
As soon as our heads hit our pillows, we fall into a deep, beautiful sleep.
My mind goes in crazy circles. Everything in my body starts pounding so hard. I'm not even on my bed, I'm on the floor. Nothing surrounds me. People start rushing into my room with guns all pointing at me. I get scared, and back up towards the wall. I can smell drugs or air pollution in the air, and then, the walls all fall down around me. All I see is a dead city.
Jack: "Jenn! Wake up! Jenn?! You were shaking.."
Me: "Run."
Jack: "Run?"
Me: "They're coming."
Jack: "Who's coming?"
Me: "The gunmen."
Jack: "No, no, it's your dream. It's make believe, Jenn." I look at him to notice it's just Jack.
Me: "Oh, it's you.." I put my head down.
Jack: "I told you I'd be right here, didn't I?" He pecks my lips with his hands holding my cheeks, and just looks at me. "You know, it's nice to be with someone like you."
Me: "You too." We smile and exchange hugs.

I wake up, then I see the stupid ass sun. I flip it off, again. Jack gets up right after me and starts to laugh.
Jack: "Fuck you, sun!" I laugh back.
