Blake
Jaye continued to talk to him even with his short responses. She never gave up making herself prove that she actually wanted him back in her life. She began to talk more about herself really opening up. She told him that she was sorry she said anything about him being in the accident and having cancer because one of her really good friends had actually past away from cancer. She felt bad and Blake could tell, he started to loosen up around her too. He wasn't ready to just jump back into anything but he knew that she was there to stay.
"How are you feeling?" She asked hoping to get more of an answer than the normal "fine" he has been giving her.
"A little better today. I should be getting out of here soon. I'm ready for some real fuckin food."
"I bet, hospital food sucks."
"Yeah it does. I want real food, meat!"
She laughed with him for the first time since they had started talking again. She could feel his walls starting to crumble and knew that soon enough they could be right back to where they were. "Blake, I missed you while we didn't talk. I really did."
"Missed me huh?"
"Yes, is that bad?"
"No, just shocked I guess considering..."
"I understand." She said putting her head down.
"Jaye, I know you are sorry, I understand even why you did what you did. But I have enough going on right now to worry about if it's going to happen again. I have no problem still talking and seeing where it can lead but it's not going to just happen overnight. It sucks, but I really did love you even though it was such a short time, I fell for you. Maybe that was my fault."
"No you're right. I don't expect things to go back to how they were. I loved you too. I don't know why I did what I did other than my own selfish reasons."
Blake smiled then, he wasn't entirely sure why but he knew he had her. She was his from that day forward. She was dedicated to him, she already had the feelings of love in her once for him, and they grew deeper with every conversation that happened after words.
A night out
As things were getting good with Jaye and Blake, Jordan and Allison were about to take a turn for the worse. The girls ended up going out that night and ended up at a mutual guy friend's house. Blake wasn't really impressed but didn't say anything. Z was cool with it because Alice talked to him the whole time. Allison on the other hand was on and off her phone. Jordan didn't mind too much because that gave him time to be with the guys. Since the girls were out they were out too.
Jaye grew jealous when Blake kept getting hit on and asked what happened to his face, which he actually liked considering it was a different side to her. He pulled the same shit she did when he had first asked her out. "You don't like it but it's not your place, do something about it." He said smiling.
And she did, "Blake Ryan Rockwell will you be mine?"
"Yes Jordan Renah, I will be yours, all yours."
Jaye was happy the rest of the night, Alice told Z who told Blake that she had a smile on her face.
Allison's Secret
Jordan on the other hand was done, he came home and passed out before he knew what had happened. In fact months had passed since that night at the party. Seven long months had gone between them all with everyone having their ups and downs but mainly they were all doing well in their relationships.
