Zadan

With Alice allowing him to talk to Cat, he took it upon himself to do what she said he could do. After all she never complained that he would speak to her as long as he was still talking to Alice too. Cat and Z talked about anything and everything, they were careful of course not to cross any lines because both were in a relationship and neither wanted to hurt Alice by disrespecting her.

"How's your guy?" Z would ask to make conversation.

"He's good, he's been busy a lot lately but he should be coming home soon. He gets a break from work but it's only for a couple days and then he will have to go back."

"Least it's better than nothing?"

"True, still won't be long enough though."

"Never is. Not in long distance shit."

"Yeah, so anyway how are you and Alice doing?"

"You mean you don't already know that answer?" He laughed knowing Alice talked about him enough for her to know.

"Good point. After all you are her boy." She rolled her eyes playfully.

"That I am." He said smiling.

Z could see Cat from her desk on the other side of the room from the position Alice put the camera on her desk. Alice was busy talking to customers, Z's eyes were on Cat. She knew he was watching too, she would look over and smile every so often. She was sly knowing that it wasn't hard to catch his attention when she wore a shorter skirt to work, or a tight fitting top that showed off her curves. Alice paid no attention because her own shirt revealed just as much. But Z had already seen those before, his curiosity was starting to grow for Cat. He just needed to keep it in check.

"I see you smiling over here." He sent Cat a text message.

She grabbed her phone and smiled down at it. She sent a winking face and flashed her smile towards him. "You saw that, huh?"

"I see more than you think I do. Perks of watching darlin' I pick up on a lot." He grinned knowing he was flirting with disaster but he couldn't help himself.

She flirted back, keeping things as innocent as possible between two good looking specimens with high sex drives.

As the days slowly rolled by Cat and Z became closer, Cat would flirt more openly with Z but never in front of Alice. It was always behind her back, quick flashes at the camera.

"You better be looking..." She would say before looking into the camera and showing a little skin.

"I'm always looking at you." Z would respond back. And it was true. Z was always looking at her every chance he got. So much that he would have to catch himself and put himself back in check.

"Do I look good today?" Cat asked.

Z knew she needed the attention, he boyfriend was busy at work and wasn't giving her the time she needed. Z was there as a friend and filler for compliments. "You look beautiful but you should already know that by now Cat." He said and he meant it.

While Alice cooked, Cat and Z played hangman on the Skype application. She guessed his word and would blush but have to quickly put herself in check. He would laugh because Alice could see her expressions so Cat had to be the one that was more careful in the situation that himself. Skype didn't keep the games records, once the word was guessed that was it, it was gone forever. He would have his fun. "You are beautiful" and "I like you" was added to the game.
