Blake
Blake and Jaye got into a nice new routine of when they talked. Knowing that things were going to be a little different now that Blake was back in Missouri doing his jobs, his nights were cut early and his days were often broke up. But she didn't complain, she was just happy to have him back in her life. Blake made it as easy on her as possible whenever he could, he would send her sweet texts to let her know that he was thinking about her. For the first time in 4 years of them being together on and off, he surprised her with a phone call.
"Oh My God! Is this really you baby! You've never called me before!"
Blake laughed, "Yes, it's really me baby. I know I haven't I just felt like I should considering I'm not around as much to talk to you throughout the day or night."
"I'm so happy to finally hear your voice!"
"Yeah baby?"
"Of course it's been so long. I love it!"
"I can't talk too long but I wanted to at least say I love you babydoll."
Jaye was silent for a moment taking in the words he just said to her for the first real time in their whole relationship. He had heard her say the words before but this was a first for them. "I love you too Babyboy."
He smiled, "I'll call you later babe, I got to go now."
"Text me when you can baby."
"Always."
He kissed her through the phone and she returned the kiss. They hung up both wearing smiles they couldn't wipe away.
Blake was the only guy really talking to anyone, with Zadan gone and Jordan concentrating on the jobs, there were no other girls in the mix. Blake was basically drama free when Jaye considering her time as a bar fly had slowed down. She and Blake were finally on the same track. Blake calling her really helped things out. She was still feeling different because of the whole Jake situation that had happened.
"Babe I miss you and your kisses and touches."
"You do, huh?"
"Yes I do. I'm not going to lie I'm going crazy here."
Jaye smirked, she loved that he made her feel wanted and loved on a daily basis. She never had to guess whether he loved her or not. She always just knew. "Guess we should do something about that then, huh Babyboy?"
"I think so." He said leaning in to kiss her lightly on the neck.
She tilted her head to the side closing her eyes.
Blake kissed to her ear where he whispered, "Get out of your head, and enjoy this with me."
Jaye smiled slightly, "You know me so well." She brought his fingers to her lips and kissed each of his fingertips.
"Yes I do." He breathed against her neck lightly. The tip of his tongue grazing her skin lightly.
She moaned softly running her tongue over his fingertips.
He closed his eyes leaning his head against hers, he took a deep breath of her, he wanted her and she wanted him. The thoughts of Jake seemed to vanish between the two of them. Each one loosened up and let the rhythm of their words take control. Blake moved with ease along her body, knowing her every curve, every dimple, the way her skin would bump up as goosebumps at his touch. The way her back would arch and her knee would bend up around him. Her fingernails on his back as she would dig them in just enough to give him goosebumps.
After it was over he laid there with her, his fingers running up and down her skin on her stomach. Her arms were wrapped around him in a tight embrace. She looked up at him, "You're never going to leave me again, are you?"
"No, I am never leaving you again." He said looking down into her eyes. He leaned down and kissed the tip of her nose and then her forehead. He meant it with everything inside him. He loved her in every truth of the word. He was hers in every way possible. And she was his. There was no more wonder or worry about others, everything was finally good between them for the moment.
Jaye and Blake were having their normal discussion. She overheard the military song playing in the background. She asked Blake if he had joined military because it wasn't the first time she had heard the music, he had sent her son a teddy bear that had an army shirt on, his hours were weird.
"You know you could tell me right?"
"I know, I'm not in the Army. I'm actually near the base that is why you can hear the music so clearly."
"Okay babe." She said dropping the subject.
Almost Busted
"Blake I thought you said Zadan was dead."
Blake froze unable to move for a moment, "He is."
"Then why did Alice find another Facebook account with his picture and under a different name, it was just updated the other day."
"I don't know babe, but Zadan's ashes were thrown in the water with Sam's."
"Okay...."
"Okay."
Nothing else was said in regards to Zadan being alive or dead, but Blake knew something would keep her mind on it whether she said something to him or not.
Parting ways
The phone calls kept coming like clockwork, at 530pm every night he would sit outside and talk to her on the phone. Nothing stopped them from having the calls. After a month Blake told Jaye that he would be out of reach for a few. He didn't know exactly how long but that he would call her when he could. He told her he loved her and that everything would be okay. She believed him and trusted him. She didn't want details but knew that if she wanted to know, all she had to do was ask. He told her it was about the job and it would be the last one that he would have to do. She needed to trust him and she did.
The day came that he would be leaving for his job, he said that he would let her know as soon as he could how things were going. He told her he loved her and she said it back. And then she waited patiently to hear from him.
The wait wasn't as long as she thought it would be. Blake was able to text her frequently throughout the day. No more phone calls but she could live with the texting being around still. They were able to keep in contact. She was happy and sent him pictures of her and her son. They talked but it wasn't as stressed as it had been in the past. Blake was curious as to why this time was so chill about the not talking as often or just in general it felt different, Jaye had an answer ready and waiting for him.
"Because I know what it is like to lose you, I know how it feels to not have you in my life every day. So this time we are apart whether I like it or not, I know that I am yours forever. You are my soul mate Blake Ryan. You are the man I am going to marry and who will be the father of our children. You are my other half and the only one I want to be with. I will never be able to be with anyone other than you. You are the only one for me and I know that from the bottom of my soul. I am 100% head over heels completely in love with you. You are my forever and a day."
Blake smiled unable to speak, she had taken his breath away. She made his heart skip beats and catch at the same time. He was in love with her too. No matter how their past had played out and all the bullshit that they had been through he knew that they could make it forever and that day. He knew she was the one for him. His forever and that day. "I love you Jordan Renah Rockwell. You are my forever and that day, my beautiful wife and the love of my life. I couldn't have asked for a better person to spend the rest of my days with. You mean the world to me and you will always be my one and only. I cannot wait to make you mine forever. I know it's been a while since I've gotten mushy with you and for that I am sorry, I should tell you every day just how much you mean to me. How much being with you means to me."
