Blake

Blake wondered around aimlessly for a week before he found any kind of form of civilization. He found an abandon house where he was lucky enough to get some water into his system. Food he knew he could go without for a while. But water he knew better. He drank as much as he could and looked around for old bottles and anything else that could hold some water for when he moved on. His knee had been killing him, his body still weak from all the chemotherapy treatments. He had manages to charge up his cell phone enough to send Jaye texts here and there to let her know that he was still alive. He had called Z and Jordan but never go through to them.

"How are you holding up baby?" Jaye asked.

"I'm okay, hurting, need a bed and a good night's sleep, a shower would be amazing but overall I guess I'm okay because I'm still alive."

"Still nothing around you love? No roads or people?"

"No not really, only thing I've ran into are abandon houses. Doesn't look like I'm even in Texas anymore."

"Seriously?"

"We'll I don't know for sure but it doesn't look like what I was seeing on the way down when I was awake."

"We've got to find you baby."

"Hopefully soon too. I'm getting weaker."

"I know, I'm so worried about you."

"I know love. Just do me a favor...."

"What Babyboy?"

"Just don't give up on me?"

"Of course not love. I'm here for you, waiting and ready for when you get here."

And that was all he needed to find a place with a phone, with mail to give him an address. He was picked up by the Doc's people and met back up with Jordan there. Jaye was of course worried and mad that he was going there instead of going to be with her, but Blake tried to tell her that these people were not the ones to be messed with.

"I knew him when I was growing up. It was a bad time in my life with everything going on at home and not wanting to be there anymore, Jordan and myself did what we needed to in order to survive. That came at a price. There's a lot about me and my past that you still don't know Jaye and I will tell you all of it when I can...when I can see your face and see your reaction. My past is my past but sometimes we can't outrun our past anymore. It catches up to us and we have to face it head on once again."

"I don't understand but if you say I need to be patient I will be. It won't be easy but you already know that."

"I know it won't be easy babydoll, but as long as you want it, it'll be worth it."

"You know I will wait forever for you."

"Forever and a day?"

"Forever and that day Babyboy."

After a few days healing up Blake made his way back to Florida. His health was still shot, he was getting sick again. Jaye hated seeing him that way. She was more loving towards him than she had been in a while. They would cuddle up and watch movies, they would watch television shows together. She would give him the attention he wanted from her all along. They were happy again. But happiness was short lived between the two. Blake went in for another checkup, their worst fears were confirmed. Blake's cancer was back and at full force. Chemo would no longer help with his cancer. This time he would have to do radiation treatments.

Jaye hated the thought of him going through it all alone however when it came to being there for him she slowly started slipping away once again. She was back to going out all weekend, she was going and doing her own thing where she would be out late hours and spending less time with Blake. Blake was worse this time when it came to his treatments. He was in pain, his chest red like a sun burn and sore to the touch. He was unable to eat because he was always nauseous. He told Jaye he wanted to stop treatments, which he hated feeling so sick and she told him that he couldn't stop because she needed him there for her and her son. One night during their late night conversations Blake had a panic attack that she would end up leaving him again because of all this. Jaye assured him that she would be there for him for every step of the way. After all he was her Babyboy.
