Blake

Blake and Jaye were beyond good in their relationship. The fact that all the others were out of the question now seemed to make things better for the two. There was no more drama when it came to Jaye going out because she was more interested in staying in with Blake even if he couldn't always talk for long at night. Blake called her one night he couldn't sleep, he told her that he just needed to hear her voice so she hummed to him until they both drifted back off to sleep. More nights together allowed them to sleep on the phone with each other. Even though they were a few hundred miles apart they still were able to at least have that moment with each other every night, at least until the phones cut off in the middle of the night.

"I'm glad we both have unlimited talk." Blake joked with her.

"Me too but it would be completely worth it just to get to sleep with you all the time like we are doing. I love it and even though we don't always get to talk that much, I feel closer to you than ever before Babyboy."

"I feel closer to you too babe. I love hearing you breath at night, knowing you are there on the other line. I wouldn't have it any other way... well besides being right next to you for real of course but I'll take this for now."

"Me too baby. Me too." She paused for a moment, "When do you think you'll be able to come home to me baby?"

"I'm hoping this shouldn't last too much longer. Shouldn't be more than a few weeks if that."

"And then you come home to me?"

"And then I go talk to the doc and then I come home to you babydoll."

She nodded which was his que to pull her close to him and kiss her forehead.

"I'll be with you soon enough baby. We've made it this far we can make it a little more."

She sighed, "I know I just really miss you. And our son misses you too. He sleeps with the bear every night. He named him and everything. I forgot to send you the picture he drew of the bear for you. I'll send it to you when I get home from work."

"I can't wait to see it babydoll."

"He really loves you Blake."

"I really love him too. I love you both with all my heart."

"Forever?"

"Forever and a day babydoll."

"Good Babyboy because you are our world. We need you in our lives."

"I'm not going anywhere baby."

"You best not."

"Oh really?"

"Yeap. Because I said so!"

Blake laughed loving that she was playing with him and that they could be mushy and still be goofy at the same time. Their relationship had really changed for the better. He didn't know what did it but he was glad for the change. Jaye was also very thankful to have Blake back into her life and the life of her son. She made sure to tell Blake each and every day just how much he meant to her. She also filled him in on her son's life as much as she could too.

A few days later, Jaye asked Blake permission to go out with her girls again. It would be just her and Alice, no guys.

"So no ex will be around?" Blake asked not caring how it sounded, jealous or not.

"No Babyboy, no guys. Just us girls. I think Jamie might show up for a little bit.

Blake smiled to himself knowing that Jaye couldn't see it, Blake knew Jamie well. She was the reason Allison and Jaye no longer got along. Well that and because Allison had persuaded Jamie to show Blake her boobs after the breakup of Jaye and Blake. Blake of course didn't mind but he would never fully admit that to Jaye. Especially not now that they were doing so well.
