Blake
With Zadan and Jordan both gone, the concentration was mainly on Blake and Jaye. Their relationship was rocky at this point. They were constantly fighting, Jaye was still going out way more than Blake liked but he was more concerned about his health which was steadily declining. He was constantly in plain which put him in a bad mood, Jaye was in a bad mood because she couldn't do anything to help him. She figured going out would help the situation. So they did what they did best at that point, they fought like crazy. Instead of fighting for each other they fought against each other.
"I don't know what you expect me to do Blake, you're not here. It's not like I can just pack up and go there."
"And I can't really do the same either, I'm in the middle of treatments that YOU wanted me to do, remember that?"
"You're right I did want you to do them...here Blake. Here with me. I'm just so sick of fighting with you day in and day out. That's all we do anymore."
"Yep it is."
They were both quiet, neither willing to break. Finally Jaye said, "I was invited with Kendra to go to the river for the weekend, since I don't have my son and you're not here, I'm going to go."
"Shocking." Blake said rolling his eyes.
Jaye rolled her eyes, "They won't have the best of service up there but I'll text you when I can."
"Convenient. Don't worry about it but have fun Jaye." Were the only words Blake said to her. He knew there was more to the story, plenty that she was leaving out but he didn't have the energy to give a shit. Half of him wished she would fuck up against just so he wouldn't have to deal with it anymore. The other half wished she would realize that going away wasn't the best idea in the world. But maybe a break from each other was exactly what they needed.
And it was a break that each one got whether they wanted it or not. Jaye's phone didn't have any service once she hit the back roads. But there were plenty of picture's that were uploaded to her page and her friend's pages. Pictures of drinking, floating the river, pictures of guys in the group with their hands on her thigh as they floated. Blake sat and stewed in his hatred to what he was seeing. He was beyond pissed. The day she was supposed to return, he heard nothing from her. The next day, his worry growing into even more anger towards Jaye, she finally sent him a text saying that they had been riding four wheelers and it flipped. She was okay just a little sore, Kendra had hurt her ankle and had to go to the hospital. Blake wrote back a simple, "Glad you're okay." And that was that.
That night they didn't sleep together like they normally did. That night they didn't fight because they didn't talk. Blake wanted nothing to do with her and she seemed okay with that just the same. They went a good week before they actually started talking again.
"So is this how our relationship is going to be now?" Jaye asked Blake.
"I don't know. Is it?"
"Blake really, I told you what happened. It's not like I meant to not talk to you all weekend."
"I got it Jaye. Look I'm about to go to my treatment, I'll text you later."
"Fine."
"Fine."
Jordan with a Mix of the Boys
Jordan's relationship was doing okay. Cali girl was getting mad that he wasn't there but with their different schedules he had told her that he couldn't just up and leave. She had said in the beginning that it was okay, that she knew he had to be there for Av, the court case with Kendall and of course to help out his friend Blake. They ended up taking a much needed break and became just friends. No more strain of a relationship to pull at either one of them. Kendall gave up her parental rights as a mother to Av after some heated discussion about her behavior. She willingly signed the papers giving Jordan sole custody. However she did want to have Av one last time before she signed the rights away completely in the court room setting. Jordan was hesitant but decided to let her have him. After all, she knew better than anyone what Jordan could and would do if anything happened to his son. She wasn't that stupid. Av was doing good, growing up big and strong. Jordan would take the time every once and a while to ask K how she was doing. She still kept in contact with him and Blake but no longer had the desire to talk to Z. She had heard he dated Alice after her and couldn't believe it considering the age difference and her party girl attitude. She was still hurt but was trying to move on with her own life. Not just concerned about herself like Allison was.
