Sasuke found Naruto right where Rei had said the blond would be: the clearing in the training ground that had pretty much become Team Fox's meeting place.
The blond 15 year old was on his back with his eyes closed and arms behind his head, as if he was taking a well deserved nap, but Sasuke could tell it was just an act. Naruto wasn't really asleep, he'd just gotten really good at pretending like he was.
"Naruto, you can't fool me. I know you know I'm here," Sasuke said with a slight grin on his face. He had to keep Naruto out of the shopping district, so he was glad Naruto stayed in the clearing instead of coming to him.
Naruto pouted slightly as he sat up. "Ah, come on! You won't even pretend to think I'm asleep?"
"After last time? No way," Sasuke said as he sat down next to Naruto.

"You do? That's good. What store do you need to go to?" Takumi inquired.
"The same place you are," Sai said. "Ninja Necessities."
Takumi smiled slightly. "Then let's get a move on," he said.

Sai and Takumi walked into the good sized store.
"Hello, young men! What can I do for you today?" the store clerk asked in a jolly tone with a hearty smile.
'He sure is happy, isn't he?' Takumi asked Sai mentally, to which Sai nodded with a faint smile.
"Where are your Tantos? I am looking for one for a friend's birthday," Sai asked politely.
The man's smile seemed to get bigger, if that was possible, as he motioned for the two teens to follow him. He lead them to a display case with different kinds of Tantos of various blade lengths and types. "Here we are! Do you know what kind you're looking for?"
"Something easy to hide or wear inconspicuously, yet not useless," Sai said, impressing Takumi. He's got this all figured out...
The man nodded his understanding and took out a few choices. "Well, there's this one, very light weight and easy to use, but not necessarily the best choice for multiple uses as the blade is rather susceptible to corrosion. It makes a good self defense blade, though," the man said, pointing at a particularly small blade. He went on to describe the different pros and cons of the individual blades, all of which both Sai and Takumi could agree didn't fit Naruto's style at all. Finally, the man came to the last Tanto he'd pulled out.
"Now, this one is the last blades of its kind, seeing how the creator of them died in the attack fifteen years ago. While not as light as the first, it definitely is one of a kind. Both the hilt and the sheath are made from hardened wood dyed black, while the 6 inch blade is made from reinforced black steal," he said, unsheathing the dagger-like blade and handed it to Sai.
Sai held the black Tanto and looked it over, testing it's feel in his hand. "I think this is the one," Sai informed the clerk when he finished his little inspection.
The clerk smiled. "With an overall length of 11 inches when sheathed, this kind of blade is usually worth around 1758 ryo, but since it's a special day and I'm in a pretty good mood, I'll give you a 25% discount."
Takumi's eyes widened as he quickly did the math in his head. Th-that's around 439.5 ryo!
Sai nodded and paid for the Tanto, having it wrapped while he was at it. He turned to Takumi. "I have my gift for him, now it's your turn," Sai said with a smile.
