Chapter 12 - Preparation

"Alright, we have your next of missions lined up, and the next one has to do with a bank robbery. This one will be headed by Thursday, because we believe that you would be the most fit to figure out a plan to disable the alarm, traffic cameras, that type of thing so that your powers don't get discovered."

We all nodded agreeing.

"Here are the files on the case. This one we know quite a bit about, but we just urge you be careful. This particular criminal seems to take weapons with him wherever he goes, the last teams been assigned to him have had some injury, not usually too major, but we want to do our best to avoid that." Esther finished.

I was actually really excited for this mission. Mainly because I didn't actually have to lead the mission...

Contrary to popular belief it is not as easy as it looks. It's actually probably the hardest position because you are in charge of everyone's safety.

I mean there are some exceptions...

For example me in high school being an idiot.

But anyway I was kind of curious as to what Kirstie was going to do.

We went ahead and moved to one of the other conference rooms to start making plans, since Esther had some plans with her friends later.

"Okay." Kirstie started, "We need a strategy, and I think I have an idea. I happen to know the bank in the file very well since it's my bank..." Todrick gave her a confused look.

"What? You really think I would put my money in the bank without figuring out if the security systems were easy to hack?" She asked with sass.

Todrick put his hands up in defeat, causing the rest of us to laugh.

"Alright, since that was probably the bank with the most high-tech security, this guy is definitely a professional. He knows what he's doing, and does it very well." She finished.

"Okay... so what do you suggest?" I inquired.

"We need a good tactical plan, we're not going to need to much brawn. Sorry Scott."

He smiled, well at least that's a good quality to have.

Scott put his arm around my shoulder, a smile spreading across my face. I slipped my hand across his back, tuning back into the conversation.

"So I'm going to send you some plans over email with specific instructions, so that we will be prepared tomorrow. Cool?" She asked.

Todrick laughed, "Okay, Ms. Type A."

She glared, "How about you two?"

We both nodded.

With that we headed home for an enjoyable night before our mission.
