The Kingdom Of Mindcrack

It begins here...

In tradition, a king retires when he has no more will to run his kingdom, or has passed fighting valiantly. This king, however, has perceived neither of the above traditions, but wants to retire to a simpler life. To raise his family and care for his child. Mindcrack's king is stepping down, he has no heir to the throne as his only child is a daughter. The king must decide how to determine a new heir.

Outside the wall of the palace. Millbee is attending to the paddocks, Beef is trading at the markets, Baj is watching the town from the guard towers, Aureylian is tailoring for the townsfolk, Pyro is hammering away at some iron for the army, Arkas and Adlington plan for future builds and Kurt is keeping everything running smoothly. All was normal in the kingdom of Mindcrack.

However. There is one particular resident in the town that many know of, but has no occupation to contribute to the kingdom. He can't cook, clean, tailor, herd, hammer or build. He did however own two cats, which many thought was all he could do, but he himself saw this as his job. A carer.
He had nothing bad to say about anyone, always had a positive mind and loved his life. Many people knew him, but we're afraid to talk to him. People saw him as 'that guy with the red hair'. He was ok with this label. But in the back of his mind, he wanted more.

This was the day that the King wanted an heir, this was his chance to prove himself more than a cat lover.
