"Breath Erin, you'll be fine" Aurey said reassuring herself. But how could your reassure yourself while standing out the front of the worlds largest doors. Suitcase in hand, she was ready to take on the world before her. Her dreams were right through that door.
She knocked.
She waited.
Anxiously.
The large, quartz doors opened seamlessly and Aurey slowly walked inside. A guard appeared and asked her to place her items in a room and follow him. Her heart was pounding in an empty chamber, echoing throughout her entire body.
She presented herself nicely in a large room adorned in golden tiles and a chandelier that could fill a room in itself. She waited for no more than a minute to have a audience with the King.
She curtsied to Guude and immediately began to present her case for what her dreams and aspirations are. She wished nothing more than the job. She could live in her own house, cook her own food and said she needed no care. She continued on when suddenly, Guude raised his hand for silence.
Aurey stopped immediately.
"Your safe to live and work here. Nothing of you is required as pay." Reassured the King. "But I must ask you if something."
Aureylian couldn't tell why, but these words struck fear into her heart.
