Seeing his friend for the last time, Chad was determined to find him later in this life, no matter who either of them had become, he wanted their friendship to remain pure and just. Like the reign of a king.
As Sevadus walked out the chamber of his King for the final time, Sevadus heard these words ring through his mind forever more.
"And Sev, don't follow your dreams, follow the stars"
He smiled, and looked back at Chad. He didn't see a king anymore. He saw the red-headed cat lover he formally met years ago, battling for the position that Chad himself was in.
This wasn't to be the last meeting between the two, but it was for a while.
Their friendship was a sign of stability and hope. They never left the others side, yet always had the more fortunate outcome in mine. The kingdom was united by their bond.
