Alexis POV
After breakfast I literally had to run from Xavier up the stairs into the shower. Somehow I managed to shift half way through my ascending the staircase.
Let's just say anything made of wood weren't a good idea in a house full of wolves. I may have shredded the landing with Xavier's help due to these annoying toenail thingy's of ours. Instead of stopping me he shifted too and actually chased me around the house, so I think we can say this is all his fault.
I opened the door to the bathroom to find Xavier falling through the door and unto the floor of the bathroom again.
'I know dogs are loyal and all, but you don't need to wait for me outside the door all the time.'
'I AM NOT...' he paused mid sentence sudden quirking his head to the side at me. 'Why do I even bother with you?'
'The way you scrambled around on that floor just now is a good enough reason to call you a dog I think.'
'So then what are you?'
'Alexis Myers. Human turned canine through one fatal bite from a rabies ridden dog who's name remains a mystery with only the letter X.' I spoke as dramatically as possible as if I was the voiceover on a movie trailer for a science fiction movie.
'You're a bixxh is what you are.' he spoke coolly as he walked out of the walk-in closet holding a button-down blouse and dress pants.
'Excuse me?' I was slightly taken back by his choice of words.
'Female dog..' he said slyly grinning at me pulling a vest over his head to hide his perfectly sculpted abs.
I glared at him a further few minutes before I continued readying myself for this wonderfully nerve-wrecking occasion.

When I finished I was pretty pleased with myself. Together we looked like a serious celebrity power couple.
Xavier had bought a slim fitting navy blue suit to wear with his black dress shoes and white blouse. He refused to wear a tie and left his blouse top buttons undone just far enough to get a peak of his chiseled chest but still look red carpet worthy.
I was wearing a completely white evening gown. It had a sweetheart neckline bordered with Swarovski crystals. It was shockingly similar to the peach looking one Jennifer Lopez wore in Maid In Manhattan. She looked so perfect in it I just had to have one. The only difference apart from the color would be the long slit that ran from half way down my thigh to the floor.
I paired it with some crystal covered Louboutins I got as a birthday present from my late aunt, and my Tiffany's bracelet Xavier bought me. My hair was in seductive curls that flowed down my back easily with my makeup done to perfection topped off with Russian red lipstick. We looked unstoppable standing here in the mirror together. I blinked my false lashes one more time before I turned to face Xavier motioning towards the door.
Apparently this was like a ball for packs everywhere. Whenever they had their Full Moon Dinners everyone went all out. The dress I had previously bought with Chanelle will just have to wait till another time.
At least I got a free outfit through them lying to me.
.......................................
Xavier drove his Range Rover Sport to the event. He even opened my door for me. The cuteness of that died almost immediately when he said I was his 'bitch' for tonight and he actually barked at me. I did swat him with my clutch for the valets to see and they couldn't stifle their laughter. I noticed it was the same guys from Xavier's house party.
