Excuse me everyone! EXCUSE ME!' I cleared my throat after getting their attention and waiting for them to stop what they were doing.
'My man Chase over here, will be returning to the Midnight Moon Pack.. He's found his mate. Xenara get over here!' I paused waiting for her to accompany us 'So everyone.. A toast! To our newest couple!' I raised my glass to the cheers of our members.
I grinned at the happy couple currently cuddling each other earning some wolf whistles from the older men. Taking a sip from my glass I looked back at my mate then at Chase and Xenara. I didn't think I could ever be this happy in life. I watched as everyone went on doing what they were doing. What captured me most was how good Alexis was with the children. She'd make a great mother. I think I'm ready for that.

Alexis POV
'XAVIER YOU MOTHERFRIGGER!!'
I stopped bouncing immediately and snapped my eyes to the area I thought the voice had come from. I couldn't see anything out of the ordinary but there had to be someone. The voice sounded so aggressive. Who would dare speak to Xavier in such a manner??
I kept searching the crowd and eventually decided to make my way down off of the trampoline. It was definitely female. I looked over at Xavier who was certainly as inquisitive as I was looking around briefly before his eyes snapped to some apple trees just off the side of our 'football' field. I turned to look over for myself and a deep frown crossed my expressions.
Scalava came out of the trees into my line of vision dressed in God knows what. She had obviously ran here. Her hair was all over the place, her clothes dirty and tattered. She looked like she hadn't slept for days.
'What a pleasant surprise.' I stepped forward to greet her with my icy cold glare. How dare she use that kind of language in front of children and elderly wolves?
'Move.' she growled attempting to push past me to get to Xavier.
'Not going to happen. I suggest you act appropriately before these people or I'll be forced to embarrass you like the pup you are.'
'That's cute sweetie. Nice of you to defend a murderer.'
'Just what the hell are you talking about?!' I yelled at her using control slightly.
'That man!' she shrieked pointing at Xavier 'Killed my father.'
I looked at her like she was insane. Crazy blonde girl says what now?
'You take that back you blasphemous cow!' I snapped at her again. I can't believe her!
'Well don't you think there's a perfectly good reason he hasn't uttered a word in his defence?!'
'Becau...' she got me there. I stopped talking immediately and turned to look at him but he said nothing. 'Xavier?'
He responded with silence holding his position at the table with his drink in his hand.
'I told you.'

Jesus Christ what the hell just happened?
It was only just a dream…
School today was an energy drainer. I even dreamt at one point I was a talking fish! Holy shit.
My mind has a way of exaggerating things. Natalie did show up ranting and raving but Xavier didn’t kill her father. In fact, sadly her father committed suicide at a cliff edge near the forest Xavier saw him.
We spent all night helping Natalie and her mom relocate and find some form of stability of mind. I have to hand it to Xavier. Even though the Scalava’s were terrible people he handled his Alpha duty like a pro.
I wish I had just stayed at home. The words pounded into my brain at the seminars left me seeing nothing but a building and perpendicular lines. That's doesn't even make sense...
The amount of times I embarrassed myself today drooling in Mrs Deleon's class is outrageous. Jesse even went so far as to stick my hair to my desk. I wanted to get him back. In fact I will believe me. I simply don't have the energy to do it alone.
I could feel the wheels in my head working as the ideas started rolling in my head. I think I would Hunter for this one. He would LOVE nothing more than to get Jesse. I'm not his only target so to speak.
Oh, it's on Uncle Jesse.
