As she slid out of Xavier's black Range Rover she wore the silliest looking smile on her face. The holiday had been extremely romantic and excitement packed all at an equal amount. It was very clear by the radiant smiles on both of there faces the holiday had been a very good idea and the had both reached a peak of unexplained happiness.

Alexis loved that he thought of her once again and decided to surprise her... As much as she hates surprises. There have never been good surprises in her case but I'm positive she would remember this one forever for all the right reasons.

Alexis POV  

Xavier got out of the car and made me wait for him to open my door. He's been understandably loved up the past few days. He closed my door giving me a small kiss before going round the back and getting the suitcases out himself. We stood on the porch and looked over at each other one more time. He stepped closer to me taking my hands in his.

'Are you ready for this?' he smiled sincerely at his words. I almost melted under his gaze.

I nodded in response as he leaned down to kiss me deeply pulling back briefly to look into my eyes again. I felt...

Loved.

I breathed in deeply feeling a wash of completeness. Xavier backed away to open the door for me and followed me in with the suitcases in his hands. When we walked into the living room all our friends were already there. I was so happy to see everyone again! I smiled in appreciation of this moment.

Noticing our presence they all turned to face us there faces riddled with shock.

'HOLY SHIT!' The words shot out from Chanelle and quite frankly I was taken back by them.

'Erm... Where's Roman?' I asked pretending I didn't notice their obvious looks.

'Baby we talked about this. Roman leaves when we.. you know.'

'Don't say that out loud!' I punched him in his arm a little embarrassed that everyone was in hearing distance of what he had just said.

'We already knew when you walked in.' Chanelle looked as though she had recovered just a little in her reply.

'How is that possible?' I gazed at them like they were insane.

'Erm.. Everyone will be able to sense and smell it Lexi. It's a werewolf thing.' Xavier shrugged as he made his way over to a sofa and casually taking his seat.

'WHAT?! YOU MEAN EVEN YOUR PARENTS?! AND STRANGERS?!!'

'Well yeah. It's a package deal' he chuckled at his words but I didn't find that funny at all.

'You mean to tell me, every werewolf, all 400+ of them, even our newest baby Ava Paquét, will be able to smell it on me?' I was horrified. If I had none I would NEVER had done that with him. How mortifying!
