"I don't know Love, sa pagkakaalam ko tayong dalawa lang ang nakakaalam nun" sabi ko

"What if-- What if sabihin niya yun sa parents natin? I don't want that to happen. Ano nalang ang iisipin nila sa atin? That we made an agreement for the babies?" sabi niya and her voice shakes

I pulled her in my arms "No I won't let that happen. I promise you" I said and heard her cry

I caress her hair and comforting her.

"Bakit ba kasi kailangan mangyari sa atin ito Alejandro?"

"H-Hindi ko din alam love. Akala ko ng makilala kita I will set everything perfect just for you, even my life. Pero hindi ko pala magagawa yun dahil may hahadlang pa."

She buried her face in my chest

"why? Bakit ngayon lang siya nagpakita sayo kung kelan malapit na ako manganak? Bakit kung kelan pa malaki ang tyan niya dun lang niya naisip na ipaalam sayo na may anak ka sa kanya? Why would she appear when everything is settled?"

"bakit hindi pa siya nauna na ipaalam sayo na magkakaanak kayo? " she said while looking at me.

"I don't know. Pero hindi ako nagsisisi na may nangyari sa atin, hindi din ako nanghihinayang na huli na nung ipaalam niya sa akin na buntis siya. Kung malaman ko na buntis siya ng mas maaga baka hindi kita nakilala. I know I shouldn't be thankful but that's what I think." sabi ko while pulling her closer

Biglang may pumasok sa isip ko.

I let go of Barcelona and reached for my phone and call my closest friend.

I dialed and a few seconds he answered

"Hey Cray" I greet

"Oh Alejandro haven't heard from you in a while huh? Still busy with girls?" tanong niya habang tumatawa

I faked laugh "Funny. I'm busy with a girl" I emphasize the word girl without an s and smiling at Barcelona.

"That's interesting." sabi niya

"pero hindi yan ang rason kung bakit ako napatawag tsaka na ako magkekwento tungkol dyan."

"Okay. You seem so serious, parang bumaliktad ata mundo natin. Alright what is it?" tanong niya

"I want to hire one of your best investigators to investigate for me. "

"What's the problem? " Tanong niya

"I want someone to investigate about Andy Salcedo I met her in a bar and had an affair long ago"

"okay. So what's her purpose in your life?" tanong niya, investigation is his line of work, investigating from people to people or companies. He's one Serious and work-oriented kind of a guy, one of the greatest investigators in this generation. You won't be expecting a no as an answer from him, he dedicate his life in his work. Hindi mo siya makikitang pumalya sa mga nagawang trabaho niya. He already made his agency a record. Kaya lumaki ng lumaki ang business niya he is one of the biggest owner of agencies. He is Cray Sumner.

I should have called earlier why didn't I thought about investigating her?

It's better late than never

"nothing, I never thought she'll ever comeback. Pero I shoudn't have underestimated her. She just came to my office days ago and saying that she's carrying my child"

"have you run some paternity test to confirm if it's your child?"

"yes we already did that."

"what's the result?" he asked

"positive" I pointed

"okay, but you won't believe what came to the result?"

"oo, nararamdaman ko na may hindi tama sa pangyayaring iyon. And I know I can feel it myself that it is not my child" sabi ko

"how sure you are?" tanong niya

I looked at Barcelona "I am very sure" sabi ko

"alright. I'll be assigning one of my investigators and I'll let him call you for further information and what you want to know about this girl your saying" sabi niya

"alright thank you I owe you own"

"not a problem bro" he said and I hung up

"sino yun?" tanong ni Barcelona
"one of my friends, isa siyang kilalang investigators in America pero umuwi siya dito to build his agency here and now he is one of the greatest investigators. He won't let you down. Matinik pa sa matinik yun" sabi ko and she chuckled when I said the last phrase

Tumango tango siya. "so why did you decide na ipa-imbestiga si Andy?" tanong niya

"like you said bakit ngayon lang siya nagparamdam and why is she doing this? To think that she knew what we had a deal from the first time I knew you're pregnant? Maybe this is some kind of plan, I didn't know her really well that she can do this." sabi ko

"but nagpatest kayo diba? It's say there that you're the father of her child. How can she fake it? Or tampered it?" she asked

"I don't know either. Huwag na natin yan alalahanin I already hired an investigator malalaman at malalaman din nila kung bakit niya gingawa yun" sabi ko and thinking about the test.

"I still have the copy of the paternity test. We can show the detective the results and looked if it's tampered alright? Don't stress yourself, you just got out from the hospital you need some rest" I said and helped her stand up at pumasok na sa loob ng kwarto.

Ng makahiga na si Barcelona I sat beside her and leaning on the headboard, smoothing her hair. I get used to caressing her hair it feels very relaxing for me. Speaking of relaxing, what if we go on a vacation, out of town, out from here even if it's just for a while. I know, this will not solve anything but this will help us think, dahil sa mga nangyayari nitong mga nakaraang linggo ay sobrang stressful because of Andy's appearance it will somehow help us to concentrate kung ano man ang meron na sa pagitan namin ni Barcelona

"hey love?" sabi ko

"hmm" she lazily said and her eyes closed

"do you want to go on a vacation? Out of town?" tanong ko while looking at her. Bigla siyang dumilat at tumingin sa akin

"right now?" tanong niya

Tumango naman ako "I know your suggestion is tempting as hell. But we can't just leave everything here. Lalo na ngayon si Andy" sabi niya and she sat facing me.

"alam ko pero pwede naman tayo umalis kahit saglit lang, leave it all behind hindi naman pababayaan ni dad yung kompanya at sigurado naman ako na papayagan tayo ng parents natin na umalis kahit saglit lang" I hopefully said

She cupped my face using her both hands

"hindi ko tinutukoy yung mga kompanya Alejandro. I'm talking about is Andy at yung mga alam niya hindi imposible na ipang-blackmail niya yun sa atin diba? Baka sabihin sa parents natin what will happen then? Paano kung pagkatapos ng bakasyon natin, oo nawala nga stress natin ng panandalian pero pagbalik naman natin dito baka mas malaking problema ang harapin natin."

"we need to face our problems not run from it, hindi naman mawawala yan pagumalis tayo, nandyan pa rin yung problema if possible baka lumaki pa. We are both stressed from whatever problem we are having now. We can't let that ruin our family hindi ako papayag na may sumira sa atin. we need to solve this first then after that what happens pagkatapos nito. We'll be having our peaceful vacation" she said

Pinagisipan ko lahat ng mga sinabi niya. Siguro tama sya na paginiwan lang namin baka lumala pa problema namin. Pero siya lang naman ang iniisip ko, baka mapahamak siya ayaw ko naman mangyari yun, I know running away is not the best solution.
