it took a while,
but
i got over it.
i saw these people often enough,
so i learnt to put up
with their bullshit.
the issue at hand
became
the boy you were always with.
he insisted
on the two of you being
partners
for
everything
the two of you did
together.
i scoffed at that,
but i said nothing more.
you two
only became closer since then,
but..
daisy.
can't you see?
can't
you
f u c k i n g
see!?
every time
i tried to speak to you
he would take you away elsewhere,
anywhere,
but here.
i don't think
you'll
e v e r
understand.
you'll
never
understand,
what it's like
to be
in love
with your best friend.
because each time
i smile at you,
in reality,
i'm in pain.
