(sleepover by hayley kiyoko summarizes every wlw struggle in high school)
the pain
was starting to show more.
i was talking less
whenever ulysses was there.
you were starting to notice.
you weren't sure why
i was sad.
you weren't sure why
i was more quiet.
i'll tell you why, daisy.
stupid ulysses.
you two stuck to each other
like glue.
and i was always there,
sitting awkwardly,
like a third wheel.
i didn't belong there.
luckily for me,
i had..
fiona.
i could tell her everything
and she
didn't even mind.
she was there
more than you were, daisy.
she was always there, daisy.
i just wish you weren't so stuck with ulysses all the time.
maybe you'd notice why i'm sad if you weren't so caught up.
he only comes to me
and a few of our other friends
when he needs something.
why can't you see that?
he only does things
for his own benefit.
and when i told you,
you defended him.
and that only angered me.
daisy,
you need to stop being so naïve
and
start looking
at the bigger picture.
start looking at him the way we see him,
the way i see him.
he's a rotten scumbag.
he's a horrible person.
he disgusts me.
for pete's sake, daisy.
just.. have a think about it.
for me.
i know i'm talking
based on anger,
but please.
i don't want you to get hurt.
