Thor and I backed up when white light engulfed her and blasted up into the sky. When the light dissipated, my eyes widened in shock.
Andi looked completely different. Her black suit was replaced with a white one. Her flaming hair was lightened to a snowy white. But it was her eyes that scared me. They were glowing white. Not just the irises. Her eyes were completely white. And she was flying!
"Andi?" I took a step closer to her.
"I do not think that is her," Thor mumbled.
"What?"
"I have heard of this. The Time Trance."
"Time Trance?" I turned to him and squinted. "How do you know what it is?"
"I have heard myths of Asgardians possessing such power centuries ago. It is a state of entrapment within one's body. Similarly to the Hulk." He pointed to her. "Andi is trapped in there. She has summoned this being to do her biding."
"But how do we get her back?" I was beginning to really worry. What if Andi was trapped in there forever?
"She will not return until this entity's job is done."
"But what is its job?"
An energy blast from a Chitauri weapon shot towards her. Thor and I turned to it, hammer and shield at the ready. Andi raised her hand and the beam halted in mid air. She tipped her head to the side in question. She flicked her wrist, sending it back the way it came, killing the unlucky Chitauri who fired it.
And then it hit me. I can stop them. I can wipe them all out.
That was the entity's job: to wipe out all the Chitauri.
Andi rose higher into the sky. She whipped her arms to the sides. White energy exploded from her form. A wave of white thundered out in all directions. It shot through Thor and I, leaving us unscathed. I couldn't say the same for the Chitauri horde. They turned to dust. Some tried to run, but they couldn't escape. Every one of the horde was vaporised. The wave of energy moved to the air. It surged through the flying metal creatures, exploding them from the inside and turning them to dust. The flying chariots flew through the wave and disintegrated immediately.
