I was arranging the cds when Chad my dear friend and Coworker gave me a slice of his chicken sandwich which was really delicious.. All the flavors blended perfectly together. Just thinking about it makes me hungrier. "Hillary my dear" Martha our boss said "Would you mind going to the back and get me the old label I was talking about?"
"Sure"
After handing it to Martha, I saw a brown haired boy wearing exactly what Tobias was wearing from behind. I saw it as a chance to sneak up on him and scare him. I snickered to myself imagining his face. I tiptoed like a ninja and pushed him.. He instantly turned stopping his hand mid air to punshing me.
"Calm down tough guy.. It's just me" I released my shirt from his grip shocked by his reaction. What is his story?
"What are you? Stalking me or something?"
"Don't flatter yourself big guy.. I work here" Thank God we weren't in view or else my friends and coworkers would be all over him.
"Hillary?" Chad "Everything alright?"
"Yeah.. Help this guy out.. He seems confused to what kind of music to choose" I said as I stepped away from Tobias and back to my work as a cashier.
"Here" He gave me a 10$ bill "Keep the change and sorry about before" I shrugged it off.
"See you Monday" I said but he continued walking. There's some secret about him making him always on gaurd and mysterious.
I sat on in my chair next to Tobias at history with a big huff and an annoyed look on my face. My brother was seated right infront of me.
"What's up with you?" Tobias asked.
"What?" I snapped.
"Nothing, Jeez no need to be snappy" He lifted his hands in surrender. It's been two weeks since he'd gotten here and I end up sitting next to him in every period we have together. He turned out to be fun. We don't talk about ourselves or lives or personal stuff.. We just compete and pull pranks.
"See Larry? You're a bit violent. Can't you be more feminin?" Steve said. Steve and I got in a huge fight yesterday and I hit him so he's calling me Larry ever since.
"Shut up Steven" I hit his head.
"Larry why the violence" The teacher came in before I could respond and to our surprise we had a quiz.
This was the most annoying day ever.
I was placing my books in my stupid locker before heading to the cafeteria for lunch. Tobias came to my side telling me something about a prank. I started to laugh until Steve called out "Hey Larry I see you're taking my advice" He walked passed me and slightly pushed me with his shoulder.. I was about to wash him with insults but to my surprise Tobias pushed him "What the hell is wrong with you?!" He said.
"Who do you think you are!?" my brother pushed him back.
"Whoa guys relax no need to." Steven sent the first punch before I say "Fight" Tobias started to hit back and soon a crowd appeared. My brothers ready to join in but I yanked them away and told them to separate them.
James pulled Steven back and Jermy pulled Tobias and I was standing in the middle. Both guys were swearing at each other and trying to send another punch. My eyes layed on the school's bully, Chet. He stood next to Megan holding her forearm and whispered something into her ear as she tried to get out of his grisp. I ran full speed and pushed him.. "Leave Her Alone" I yelled.
"What are you going to do if I don't?"
"Kick your ass" Steve said suddenly standing behind me along with James and Jermy.
"I'd like to see you try" He said still holding Meg's arm. I pushed him sending him slightly backwards and bit his hand so he let go of my sister. The boys jumped in laying a punch after a kick.
"Are you okay?" I asked her. She gave me a weary smile and nodded.
"Williams step away from him right now" Our principle Mr Stalinsky yelled from behind.
"You're all suspended effective immidiatly except for you Megan and Riley"
"Hey what about me" I yelled.
"Of course you're suspended too.. I'm sure you had something to do with the fight" He said walking away. He hated me ever since I pranked him when I first got to highschool. "Now collect your things and leave my school." We did as told happily.
"What a turn of events huh?" Steven leaned next to me. "I call truce" He said.
"Well only if you carried my books" He took them and walked with me outside. "Oh. Tobias!" I yelled when I saw his retreating figure. I don't know how I forgot about him.
He turned around and walked to us I whispered to my brother that he needs to appologise but he won't do it.. Men's pride..
"Are you okay?" I asked him "That's a big bruise on your cheek" I said hitting Steve's shoulder "See what you've done?"
"It's fine." He said "Hey man" He turned to my brother "Sorry I had no idea she's your girl friend"
"What!" Steve and I said simultaneously "Ewwww" we both shuddered.
"He's my brother. You still don't know?"
"So he's in our class why?"
"Because I'm a junior" Steve explained.
"So you were held back or something?"
"No idiot, he's my twin" I stated. He's been here for 2 weeks and still doesn't know.
"So you're triplets?" He smiled at us.
"Try like sextuplets" Steven said sheepishly.
"Wow That's a lot"
"Yeah well Megan and Riley and this idiot over here and"
"Hey I thought we called truce."
"Well I'm giving you back your nickname.. It's idiot" I smiled at him. "So Tobias, are you suspended too?"
"Yeah Stalinsky saw my bruise and immediatly suspended me for two days."
"Well come with us," Steven said "We're having a barbeque today and it would be a great way to appologise to you after causing your suspension"
"Okay" He said and we walked away to our minivan.
"Your day to drive Hil" Jermy gave me the key and we went home.
