"Bye Meg" I said through our tight hug.. She's leaving for college.. Everyone is. Jermy and James already left to their flights. "I'll miss you" She said through tears.. I decided to forgive them two weeks ago.. I didn't want to keep fighting with them. They appologised like a billion times and they'd get me gifts and food. "I'll miss you too" I said crying with her.
"Thanks God you two are going with me to community college.." I said during the ride home
"I can't believe we'll only see the boys on vaccations.. It's a good thing that Meg and Jade are 5 hours away from here." Riley said still crying.
"I thank God that you're not like your Aunty Riley.. She cries a lot" Steven cooed to Emma earning a chuckle from me and a smack from Riley.
We are an hour away from college counting traffic so we won't be leaving until tomorrow except for Steve, he's staying here and drive to college back and forth everyday..
"The house is empty.. I bet you'll miss us" Riley said tears welling up in her eyes again.. What s wrong with her?!!
"Why are you so emotional!"
"Why aren't you?!!"
"I hope you don't be like Aunty Hillary either.. She's heartless"
"Give me the baby.. Don't listen to him.. Just don't be like your daddy.. A stupid idiot."
"Watch it!" He said "If she talks like you I'm going to kill you."
"It's fine with me.. She'd be a bad ass.." I let out an evil laugh.
Tomorrow came quickly and I say leaving my childhood home was really hard although it's only an hour away with traffic.. I didn't cry though, but I felt like a tree being pulled out of the soil.. I sat on my bed and Steve had to carry me to the car. Pathetic I know, but that's life.
I went to the orientation then to my dorm room. Riley and I were in different rooms. She was on the second floor and I was on the fifth. I entered to find a blond tall girl.
"Hi"
"Hello" She said with a huge smile "I'm Jane."
"You're my room mate?"
"Uh.. No I'm in 516.. Your roomy is my bestie.. I'm waiting for her if you don't mind"
"Sure." I put my stuff on my side of the room, made it personal.. I scattered pictures of my family on my shelf and put my books in the cabinet next to me, I hung my clothes and that was it.
"Oh my.. Riley? You're with me?" A blondish girl spoke. Guess she's my roommate.
"Nop. I'm Hillary, Riley's on the second floor"
"You're her twin? Awwh I always wanted to meet you all" She gave me a hug. "Jane this is Hillary Williams. I so happy you're my roommate."
"I'm sorry but what's your name?"
"Oh sorry I forgot.. My name is Kayla.. Kayla Kipley. Thomas's sister."
"Kipley? Why are you in a community college? I thought you are five"
"No, I'm the birth daughter.. Tom and Lilly are the adopted ones.. Our parents don't want us to be spoiled." She glanced at the pictures "Oh my god is that everyone?"
"Yeah"
"Jane look those are the others"
"Wow"
"They're sextuplets with 2 older siblings" This is going to be a long year. What if Riley and Tom broke up, this girl is hell to me.. She's too I don't know talkative? Perky? Annoying. That's the word.
"I'm going to see my brother now" I said trying to leave.
"I'd like to meet him.. Can I?" OH MAN I'M STUCK.
"Yeah sure."
"It'll get better with time" Jane whispered "She's a nice person just give it time" She smiled.
"Steven" I waved at him.
"You already met people.. You're not sociable Hill.. Are you Riley?" He muffled a laugh.
"Shut up.. This is Kayla Kipley.. She's Tom's sister"
"Hey" Steve said and that girl responded with a tight hug which was weird.
"Don't go hugging people you don't know kayla" Tobias appeared from behind me.
"What are you doing here" I said annoyingly.
"Don't worry I'm not stalking you. I just go to college here"
"Just my luck" I said
"Why? Are still sad I made you tell me about Dylan?"
"You know what.. F**k You!"
"Wow, calm down" Kayla said with a hushed tone.
"Any time any place" He said with a smirk on his face. Steven puched him hard making him fall to the ground.
"What the hell man, just joking with her"
"Well joke again and you're dead, you hear me?"
"Hillary is my bitch" Suddenly Steven was on top of him throwing a punch after another.. Kayla was screaming and I tried to pull him off.. Riley came running and helped me pull him away but we couldn't move him.
"You wanna get expelled? Come on think of Emma" Riley said so he stopped and stood up as if nothing happened.
"Ever trash talk her again and you'll never be able to have children" My brother talked and we walked away leaving a bloody Tobias on the ground..
"What was that about?" My freaking roommate came in..
"Nothing"
"Why do you hate Tobby.. And why was he talking like that to you.. He's normally a great person. He's good to Riley too"
"Just forget it"
"I can't he's practically my brother.. I really need to know"
"Then ask him!" I snapped.
"He won't tell me" She was calm and sad.
"We were friends then I refused to go out with him and went out with another guy so your precious brother violently forced me to kiss him and called me Melessa then he appologised which I didn't accept and he's been like that ever since. Happy?"
"I think he likes you" She grinned "You'd be great together."
"Another thing is I hate him" I nodded my head and showed her a fake smile.
"Come on.. You and Riley with Tobby and Tommy. It's perfect."
"So why are you, Tom, and Tobias in the same school year?" I changed the subject.
"I was 10 when Thomas was adopted and he was in my class although he was 11.. He's been held back a class because he ran away from a foster home as for Tobby he's my age so that somehow makes us twins. I wish he'd let my parents adopt him but he didn't want to.. Tobby and Tommy found each other when Tom was 16.. They met in class. They started crying like babies but they were both adopted that's until Tobias's parents returned him like he's an item and his girlfriend.. A bitch called Melessa left him for another rich dude. She somehow talks like you not that you're a bitch.. But she's a heartless girl not that you're heartless. So anyways he's afraid of getting hurt again.. That's why he does not want to be formally adopted. I never knew why my brothers got into foster homes. Whenever I ask they change the subject."
"So how does Lilly look like?"
"She's cute, toothless too.. She just lost her front teeth.. Adorable" She cooed "Oh I just figured out why he's talking to you like that"
"Why?"
"You hurt him.. He's afraid you'd hurt him again"
"I'm going to sleep now.. Goodnight Kayla"
"Nighty" She said and turned off the lights. "Hope you dream about Tobby and your future babies"
"Hope not"
