"We went to the movies and he made that yawning trick to put his hands around me, we held hands and I actually felt sparks between us.. He took me iceskating and we kept falling on top of each other" My daughter was telling her best friend, Ryland, all about her perfect date.. She was extremely cute when she was all excited.. I'm happy that her real smile was back.. "We're going out again on Sunday. I can't wait!!" She squeeled.
"Mom! She is really annoying me.. She won't stop talking about Tyler" Adam grumbles "Tell her to stop."
"Let her be Adam, don't you see she's happy?" I say.
"I'm going to Rosie's house.. Maybe she'll give me cookies and tell me stories" He says and goes over to the neighbor's house.
"What about me? Where will I escape" Jake whines.
"Go play basketball with your friends"
"I feel like sleeping"
"Then do that" I say.
Two minutes later, A delivery of 100 red roses was on my doorstep.
"There's a card" My daughter announces.

"Oh my.. It is.. Ha ha.. But it's still cute" Ryland exclaims.

"Great" He says suddenly standing at my doorstep and gave me a peck on the cheek "Because I have another surprise"
"Really?" I ask excitedly.
"Come with me all of you" He grabbed my hand "Steph get Adam please" He told her. We climbed into the car after putting the roses in water. Adam wouldn't stop asking questions... We parked infront of a pet store.
"What's the surprise?" I ask.
"I'm getting everyone of you a pet of your choice"
"SO I CAN GET A PUPPY?" Adam screamed happily. "You are the best Tobby.. I love you so much" He jumped at him from the back and engulfed him with a super tight hug.
"I love you too buddy"
We entered the pet store and the kids scrambled.. Even Ryland was getting a pet after asking her mom.
"I want this one" Adam cheered pointing at a little golden retriever pup.
"I want the little German Shepherd" Jake pointed at a little brown puppy with the cutest eyes.
"Can I get the little white australian shepherd?? I really like those" My daughter asked quitely.
"Of course you get whatever animal you want" Tobias reassured her "What about you Ryland? Any animal you like?"
"Uh" Her cheeks turned rosey "I want a kitten.. The white one with blue eyes" She said with a smile on her face.
"What about you hon." He talked to me "Any animal?"
"Aren't those expensive enough?"
"Are you forgetting that I'm a kipley now?? I'm like filthy rich."
"Oh.. Then I'll get a little blue indian ringneck parrot please."
"Anything for you" He said..
"What about Collin?" I asked.
"We already have a dog, A big husky.. His name is Chuck, he's 6 months old."
"Awwwh" I cooed.
Tobias got us all the supplies needed for the dogs.. He made arrangements to get them delivered to our house in an hour. Adam named his pup Buddy.. Steph named hers snowy, Jake named his female pup Jenny. I, however named my bird blueberry.. I just hope that we could sleep at night with all those dogs at home.
"Mommy, are you and Tobias getting married oneday?" Adam asked on the ride home which made everyone look at me.. Even Tobias who wasn't looking at the road anymore.. "I know he's not my daddy but I like him.. He's good"
"I like him too baby." I said as if Tobby wasn't sitting next to me "But we'll have to see if we'll get married oneday alright? Let the fate decide." Everyone nodded and I caught a glint of hope and pride in Tobby's eyes. Would I really marry him? It's only been 2 years since Dylan.. Aren't I moving fast? My kids are loving him, why aren't I?
"I like him Meg" I told my sister over the phone, she's the only one living two hours away.. After college everyone moved close to home about an hour away from my parents house or less. "But I don't know. Adam wants me to marry him.. I'm not ready yet. I mean I feel like I'm cheating on Dyl." I used his nickname.
"Honey.. You gotta move on.. Dylan would want you to. He would want you to be happy. Allow yourself to be happy and find love again. If not with Tobias then with someone else.. Although Tobias seems perfect."
"I don't know Meggy. On our first date he told me that he'll make me love him.. He's trying really hard"
"He's good to the kids, He's great with you, He's rich, He loves animals, He's practically perfect. I would love him if I wasn't already married with 5 children."
