Chapter 9: Trying to Hold on

(Sarah's POV)

I wish that I hadn't been so willing when Archie said that he was going to take me captive. After we had arrived at the Team Aqua Base, he took me to his labs, and started to do the thing I never wanted anyone to do. Ever.

He exploited the Yveltal in me. In short, that means that I am now an Yveltal Pokehuman. I have the tail of an Yveltal, as well as those black things on my head. And while he was at it, Archie thought it would be cool to dress me like a proper one. This means that I now wear black boots, grey sweatpants, a red shirt, black jacket, and a grey scarf. I absolutely hated it. And right now, the worst part was that I didn't have my pills on me that I take to keep Dark Aura in check, and I had no idea what could happen now that my inner Yveltal is being shown and has surfaced.

I leaned against the wall, and sighed. I sure hope that Lauren was able to get my message to Tabitha. I then started to nod off, but snapped awake when I heard Archie bang on the bars of the cell I was in. I sighed. "What do you want now, Archie?"

"I want you to come with me, and you don't really have a choice in the matter.

I sighed. "Fine. Just promise not to hurt me..."

Archie chuckled. "Ah. I can only promise that if you promise to cooperate with me."

"Fine. I'll cooperate with you," I answered, walking over to the door of the cell.

Archie opened it and grabbed my arm, and guided me to the battlefield. "Now, show me your true form!"

I looked at him like he was nuts. "What are you talking about? This is my true form. I don't have any other form. Why do you think I do?"

Archie chuckled. "Ah. Have you forgotten? I've exploited your inner Yveltal, which means you are now able to transform into an actual Yveltal."

I started to shake. "I-I can't do this... What if I lose control and attack you... O-or worse?"

Archie sighed. "Sarah. Just do it. I don't want to hurt you if I don't have to. I know what I am doing."

"N-no... I can't do this..."

Archie sighed. "Yes, you can. Now please do it. I don't want to hurt you."

"F-fine... How do I do it?"

He sighed. "Just close your eyes and imagine yourself becoming an Yveltal. It's very simple."

I nodded, still shaking, and closed my eyes and did just as he said.

It felt really weird. I could feel my arms morph into the wings, my head changing shape, and all the other things.

When I opened my eyes, I was towering a few feet over Archie, as I was on my feet, and Yveltal's height of 19 feet is measured tail tip to the tip of its head.

Archie looked at me. "Well? How does it feel? Don't be afraid to talk. I can understand every word you say."

I shook my head. "I-I don't like it at all... I want to change back..."

Archie sighed. "Alright. Fine. All you need to do is focus on your human form while your eyes are closed."

I did just that. When I was back in my human, or should I say Pokehuman, because no matter how hard I tried, my Yveltal parts remained visible.

I was readjusting my scarf when a Hydro Pump hit me from behind, causing me to fall. "Gyah!"

I heard Archie chuckle. "C'mon Yveltal girl! Put up a good fight! Swampert! Ice Beam!"

I got up and jumped to the side just as the attack flew past me. I seriously had no idea how to use any attacks, so I continued to dodge them until a Hydro Pump hit me square in the stomach, and as I fell, I was hit with a barrage of attacks until I was barely conscious.

Archie chuckled, walking over and picking me up. "You really are pathetic, you know. Why didn't you attack back?"

I coughed, and it hurt like hell. "I-I don't know how to use moves..." As soon as I finished speaking, I felt a sharp pain in the back of my head, and my surroundings started to go black, and Archie stroked my hair.

"Heh. Then not only will I teach you how to use your moves, you will also become the most powerful weapon Team Aqua has."

As he finished speaking, I slipped into the dark and silent realm of unconsciousness, but unfortunately, the pain stayed with me.
