Chapter 10: Devising a plan

(Lauren's POV)

I watched as Tabitha passed out. He nearly fell off of the table, and I caught him, and set him in a chair. As soon as I did, he started to glow like he was a Pokemon that was evolving. I guess that fits what is going on, as he had just injected himself with some type of Pokemon DNA, and when the light faded, I saw he was an Absol Pokehuman.

Now I know that Sarah and Tabitha are in love, but I kinda have a crush on him. I patiently waited for him to wake up.

When he did, he groaned and opened his eyes, and then looked at me. "Ugh... Lauren... What happened? Why do I feel so weird?"

I smiled and sat in his lap. "What happen is that you became an Absol Pokehuman! You now have the head scythe and tail of an Absol. I must say, Tabitha, you look really cute."

He blushed. "Y-you really think so Lauren?"

I nodded. "Yeah. I think Sarah is going to like it too." I then quickly kissed him on the lips.

Tabitha blushed a bit brighter, and pushed me off of his lap, causing me to fall to the floor. "Lauren! What was that for?! You know I'm in love with Sarah!"

I slightly blushed, looking down. "I'm sorry Tabitha..."

He sighed, and kneeled by my side. "Hey. It's alright. Now, what is this plan you have in mind for getting Sarah?"

I smiled at that. "Well, I'll tell you if you help me up."

Tabitha also smiled. "Not a problem."

He then helped me up, and I then hopped on the examination table and sat. "Well, Tabitha, the pan is very simple. All we do is become our Pokemon forms-"

Tabitha then cut me off. "Pokemon forms? I can become an Absol?"

I nodded, smiling. "Of course you can! That is the whole reason being a Pokehuman is fun! Now, as I was saying, we will both be in out Pokemon forms, which means I'd be a Lucario, and you'd be an Absol. Once we are in that form, we will go to the Team Aqua Base. And Archie will not recognize us, as he only knows our human forms. You with me so far?"

Tabitha nodded. "Yeah. I'm following what you are saying right now. Continue."

I nodded. "Right. So once we sneak inside the base, we then find out where Sarah is being held captive. Once we find her, we break her out! It's that simple. So tell me. How does this plan sound?"

Tabitha was silent for a minute as he thought. "I like it, but I do see one major flaw."

I tilted my head. "A flaw? What kind of flaw?"

Tabitha sighed and shook his head. "Well, what if Archie catches us and kicks us out? Or what if he catches us, battles us, and we lose?"

I bit my tongue. "That is true... And if we were to lose in a battle, we would both be forced to return to our Pokehuman states, and if that were to happen-"

"Archie would figure us out and lock us up. And if that happened, we wouldn't be able to save Sarah. If we aren't able to save Sarah, I have a feeling Archie is going to hurt her. But if Archie hurts her, I'll feel really bad. If I feel really bad, I'll-"

"Tabitha," I said, grabbing his hands. "Stop worrying about Sarah. We will save her."

He looked at me. "You sure about that Lauren?"

I nodded. "I'm 100% positive Tabitha. If you want, I can take your mind off of this, and help you focus."

Tabitha then slightly tilted his head. "You can? I mean, yeah. That would be nice."

I smiled, and pulled Tabitha closer to me, and wrapped my arms around him. I then kissed him, and he kissed back.

Once we were done, he pulled away blushing. I looked at him. "Is that better?"

He nodded, still blushing. "Y-yeah. Let's go."
