Chapter 19: Amity

(Sarah's POV)

When I woke up, Tabitha was already awake. "Morning sweetheart," he said.

I smiled. "Morning."

He then kissed me, and I kissed back. "How are you feeling?"

I sighed. "Alright, I guess."

He smiled and rubbed my hands. "Well, I'm excited and nervous."

I nodded. "Yeah. So am I. Hopefully it'll happen soon so it's done and out of the way..."

Well, not even I can control when it happens, Lia said.

Whatever. I'm going to kill you...

Lia chuckled. Heh. Well, as of right now, kill me and you kill yourself.

Tabitha then shook me. "Sarah? Are you ok?"

I snapped back. "Huh? Yeah. I'm fine... Lia just told me not even she can control when it happens."

Tabitha sighed. "Everything is going to be ok. You hear me?"

I nodded, but I then felt a sharp stab of pain, and grabbed his hand. "Agh..."

"Sarah? What is it?"

I groaned, clutching my stomach with my other hand. "I-I think... I think I'm going into labor..."

(About 2 hours later...)

I was in a bed in the hospital ward, and I had just delivered Amity about an hour ago. And I must say, I'm glad it's over with.

Tabitha then walked into the room and sat by my bed. "How are you feeling?"

I sighed. "I've been better. How's Amity?"

Tabitha sighed. "She's doing alright. She's currently in the Training room, working on her powers with Lauren."

I sighed. "You know, I never told you how you won my heart..."

"Hm? Enlighten me, then."

I sighed. "Three months ago, when I had messed up horribly. Courtney wasn't around, and it was your job to punish me. And... And your method of doing so.... That's.... That's how you won over my heart."

He blushed, and kissed me. "Oh, Sarah... You know I wasn't thinking straight then..."

I sighed. "I know. And that's exactly why you won over my heart."

I then pulled him up on the bed and kissed him.
