Chapter 12

Maria
I see him kiss her. Everyone starts clapping and I feel my heart break.

My breathing starts getting a little bit heavier and my chest clenches.

I try to keep my sobs in but one escapes and I quickly run out from the wall and look around seeing a random guy.

My feet go over to him and I kiss him without thinking. He kisses back and I wrap my arms around his neck.

He wraps his arms around my waist and I pull away seeing him blush and look up with wide eyes.

"Princess Maria," he starts off and I look at him

and he looks surprised.

I then realize what I did and I curse under my breath.

My feet do the one thing and I run. I run between Lexi and Cal breaking them up and I keep running.

I go further into village and find a hidden park. I go through the woods and I see a beautiful spot.

My hands pull out my phone and I plug in my headphones sitting on the ground next to the tree.

You got holes in your jeans,

Calum came to work on the first day and he had a few holes in his jeans, he had a bad life and his heart has holes. He was washing the dishes and he had tears falling. My heart broke.

Everything he does is breathtaking and I can't breathe. I want him I know if he is falling apart, I will fight for his heart. No matter what.

Seeing his scars from the whips and watching the nurse aid his wounds after it, it makes me wanna heal them with his heart. I'll take him in my arms tonight. Just me and him.

I sing the words and think of him. I finally stop singing and I pull my knees close. I look up and see I have gone farther in the woods then intended.

I look around and I see nothing familiar. I start to whimper a little and realize something.

I'm lost.

I sigh and bang my head on the wall. She was about to end her life.

My love. My life. My girl.

Was going to end her life, I didn't know what to do. I love her and I worry about her.

It's not my fault I deeply love her, I didn't know how to handle it.

I look at the clock and realize Maria has been gone a long time.

I hope she's okay, what's the worse that can happen?

I try to brush it off, but I can't help but think the worse.

Nah she's fine, but I have to figure out some way to make it up to my girl.

I need to make it up to Lexi.........
