Chapter 27

Lexi pov

"Don't you dare call me that!" I yell at Ashton.

"Yeah and why not?!" He yells.

I start to tear up and I turn my head.

"Cause that's what dad called me. That's what Luke called me." I put emphasis on called.

"What do you mean?" He asks.

"You don't even deserve to know."

"Lexi-"

"Dad came back!" I yell.

"And Luke left." I finish. He stands up immediately.

"What? Where?"

"Wherever dad was Luke went there."

"God I didn't know."

"Yeah I know and you also don't know that mom tried to kill herself, Mikey has cancer, and dad is still an alcoholic. So congratulations have a good life!" I yell and walk to the fire escape.

I hold onto the railing and look out on the town. The weather was stormy and in all honesty I didn't care what happened to me now.

"Lexi?" Vic.

The tears come faster now as I look at a bridge. I was sobbing, yes I know. In front of Vic. I don't care. There was no more laughs. I wanted to tell Ashton that Mikey already died but I couldn't bare to do it. I was already dead. Mikey finally made his big sister cry. He was only 4. I fall to the ground as the rain pours on me.

"Lexi." Vic says again and I grip the railing.

I was having a pain in my chest and I couldn't help it. Mikey would never get to learn how to ride a bike, never have his first kiss, his first love, his graduation, he never got to live his life. That's it. I'm done. I stand up and face Vic.

"Goodbye Vic." I say and walk past him.

"Lexi!" I hear him yell and I walk past everyone on thing set on my mind.

Death.

I had thought it through.

I walk out of the castle someone behind me probably Vic and if he doesn't go it's not my fault I'm ready. I love you Mikey. I'll be with you soon.

"Lexi listen to me!" Vic yell behind me as I get to the bridge.

I grip the wet railing and put one leg over it. I was now basically sitting on the edge of the bridge.

"You better not!" I hear Vic yell as I stand up and turn around.

"Lexi!" He's running now and I see Calum behind him.

I look down and hold my stomach. I can't. Not with the baby. Especially since it's his and he doesn't even know. I sigh and feel someone pull me back over the railing. I see Vic hold me and he cries over me.

"Lexi. Oh my god please don't do that again." He says and I look up at him.

Calum pov

I watch as Vic holds Lexi and I run towards them.

"Lexi. Oh my god please don't do that again." Vic says.

"Vic." I say and he shoots his head towards me.

"Uh yeah?" He says tears still in his eyes.

"I need to take her home." I say and he nods.

"Lexi." I say and hug her while I sob into her shoulder.

"I'm sorry Calum." She says softly.

"Please, don't ever do that again." I say and she nods.

"I'm so so so sorry Calum." She mumbles and I pick her up.

"Come on let's go home baby." I say and kiss her lips.

She was cold. I could tell by the way she's shivering. I hold her closet and she smiles at me.

"I love you Cal."

"I love you too Lex."

"Thanks for being here with me." She says and I kiss her again.

"Baby I want to be here with you anyway." I say and she holds me closer.

"Now let's get home." I say and I walk us to my house.

"Calum...." She stops us as we get to the door.

"Yeah?"

"C-Cal I'm-" She looks at me.

"What?"

"I'm uh- never mind I forgot." she says.

She smiles and I walk us inside. She mumbles something softly but I couldn't hear her. I hug her and shut the door just as it starts to rain. I hope she's okay.
