Chapter 17

Lexi pov

I was clearing out Vic's closet when I heard the door open and close.

"Vic we want you to marry Danielle." I hear his father say and I bang my head against the closet door.

"Are you okay?!" Vic runs over to me.

"Yeah." I nod and get back to work.

"What is she doing here?" I look at his father and stand up straight.

"Well I needed her to do work." Vic says glaring at his father.

"Get her out." He says and I close my eyes.

"Dad!"

"No get her out." He says and I nod.

"Yes sir." I say and start to walk out.

"No! Dad she has to stay!"

"Why?" His dad looks at him mysteriously.

"B-Because you tell him!" He yells and my eyes widen.

"I don't know what to say sir." I say and Vic walks over towards me.

He places his hands on my face and kisses me. Yeah sparks flew but it wasn't right. I was 'engaged'. I pull back immediately.

"Sir I'm getting married soon I'm sorry." I say and look at his father.

"I'll be leaving now if you want."

"Thank you and I'll be talking to my son." He says and I leave quickly my heart racing.

I walk to the door quickly just as I run into someone. I almost fall back but someone catches me. I look up and see Calum holding me. I look to the side and see Maria.

"Hey." He says and I smile.

"I uhh have to go home." I say and he sets his hands on my waist.

"Oh okay. I'll see you when I get there?" He asks and I nod.

I pull him in a hug and he a couple awws coming from some maids that pass us. I pull back and he rests his hands on my hips.

"I'll miss you." He says and I lean forward to kiss him.

"I'll miss you too now I have to go soon. I'll see you at home." I say and he kisses me again before I leave.

Calum pov

Kissing Lexi is so natural now. It's like a normal thing. I look over at Maria as she stares at the place where Lexi was. I knew I was hurting her. She clears her throat.

"Uhh I need you to uhh go clean the kitchen." She says and I nod. I quickly walk to the room but hear yelling.

"You better not mess up her relationship with that boy!"

"But dad! I-"

"YOU WHAT?!"

"I LOVE LEXI!" I knew it was Vic immediately and suddenly I felt something. I'm 'engaged' to her. I walk in like I didn't hear anything and I freeze.

"Oh uh sorry sir." I say and the king glares at me.

"Why are you here?" He asks rudely.

"Uhh sir princess Maria asked me to be here."

"Can you please leave?" He says and I nod.

"Just please go home." He says and I nod.

I see Maria staring at me and I walk out quickly.

It was cold out mainly cause it was getting closer to Christmas. I was thinking about I should do for Lexi. I want something amazing.

"Hey Calum!" I turn and see Lynn. Perfect.

"Hey Lynn what's up?"

"Not much so I wanted to know when are you and lexi getting married again?"

"Oh well actually we don't know." I say and she smiles.

"You should marry her on Christmas." She says and I look at her curiously.

"What I mean I don't know if she'd like it."

"She's love it!" Lynn says and I nod.

"Really?"

"Yeah I mean she said I could be the bridesmaid/ wedding helper. So I'm helping." She says and I chuckle.

"You really think so?"

"Mm yes!" She squeals and I smile.

"Come on let's let her." I say and we walk back to Lexi's house to tell her about the 'wedding'. Yeah I'm nervous. I didn't think we'd get married  really.

"Did you hear? Lynn said that Lexi and Calum will get married on Christmas." Someone whispers as we talk about it.

News spreads around so fast. We make it to Lexi's house and I knock on it. She opens the door and smiles at me and Lynn.

"Lexi, lets get married on Christmas."  I say and she looks at me.

"Calum.."

"What do you say?" I ask and she smiles and nods. Christmas is in a couple weeks we can figure something out about this before then. Well I hope.
