Chapter 21

Lexi pov

I hear a soft knock and see Vic's new wife Danielle walk in. They got married a couple days ago. She wasn't Danielle Victoria anymore. She's Danielle Fuentes. I smile at her and she sits beside me as Lynn fixes my hair.

"Oh you look so amazing!" She says and I smile.

"Thank you."

"Are you nervous?" She asks and I blush.

"A little I mean I never thought this day would come." I say and she puts her hand over mine.

"You'll be fine." She says and I chuckle.

"We're you nervous? I mean on your wedding day?"

"Nervous? No. I was terrified." She chuckles and so do I.

"But I had no reason to be and neither do you. Calum loves you I can see it in his eyes." She says and I smile.

Maybe his love grew stronger too. I mean Vic is married after all and well Calum found out Maria's now his sister. It changes a lot. I see my brothers walk in.

"Oh Mikey! You look amazing!" I say to the boy in the baby tux.

"Ashton, Luke!" I say and hug them.

"Let me fix!" Lynn whines and I smile.

"Luke I have a question." I say and he smiles and kneels in front of me.

"Do you think you could walk me down the aisle?" I ask. He smiles.

"I thought you'd never ask." He says and I smile.

Mikey is the ring bear and I swear he thought he had to wear a bear costume. Ashton has to walk Maria down the aisle and Lynn would already be there with Vic. Then they go in their spots. Our friends and family will be there but not my mom. She hasn't been the same. Hasn't spoken a word to me and well she's at home now. Lynn finished my hair a little while later and Maria was in here smiling. Lynn got on her dress and she was checking out everything.

"It's time Mrs. Soon-To-Be-Hood." She says and I chuckle.

"Alright places!" She says and everyone pairs up.

Ashton look at me and I chuckle. He blushes as Maria puts her arm through his. I was laughing by now. He had a simple little crush on her sure. Miley was fidgeting I wouldn't blame him. He's doing a lot for a 4 year old. There was Lynn's sister Alice that was throwing flower petals. Miley likes her. I look at Luke everything looked good.

"Okay see on the other side." Lynn says and walks out.

The music started playing and soon I'm walking out slowly with Luke.

Calum pov

I hear the music and see Alice (Lynn's sister) walk out. I chuckle and then see Maria and Ashton walk out. Maria was almost laughing, Ashton probably said something. I look at Vic as he whispers something.

"This is getting antsy. I'm ready." He gives himself a speech and I chuckle.

"Calm we'll-" I cut myself off when I see Lexi walk out.

"Whoa." I say as she walks towards me.

I have to admit my love for her did grow stronger. I look at Maria as she looks over at Ashton. I smile at her and she smiles back at me. She looks so beautiful. She kisses Luke's cheek and he hands her off to me.

"Be good to her." He says and I nod.

"Dearly beloved we are gathered here today to join this man, Calum Hood, and the woman, Lexi Silence, in holy matrimony." I smile at Lexi and she smiles at me.

It was time for us to put the rings on each other and say I do.

"Do you, Calum Hood, take this woman to be your lawfully wedded wife? Do you promise to love her, confront her, honor her and keep her in sickness and in health, remaining faithful to her as long as you shall live?"

"I do." I say and smile at her.

"Do you, Lexi Silence, take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband? Do you promise to love him, confront him, honor him and keep him in sickness and in health, remaining faithful to him as long as you shall live?"

"I do." She says and I smile even more.

"Then by the power invested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride."

I grab Lexi by the waist and pull her in a passionate kiss. She smiles and I hear everyone cheer. I pull back and give her another quick kiss she laughs and hugs me.

"I love you Cal."

"I love you too Lex."

I look at Maria and she smiles softly at me. I wonder if she knew. I look at Vic as he talks to Danielle intently. Then I finally look back at my bride as she talks to Lynn. I pull her away from Lynn and smile at her as she blushes.

"I-I can't believe we got married Cal!" She says and I hug her.

"I know it's crazy." I say and she looks up at me.

Just then our friend Brendon starts playing a song him and our other friend Ryan wrote.

"This is for the new lovely couple. This is Northern Downpour." He says and starts singing.

"May I have this dance?" I ask and Lexi laughs.

"Mmmm no. Just kidding yes." She says and starts dancing with me.

"Northern downpour sends it love."

I rub my nose against hers and she puts her head on my shoulder. Everyone was watching us.

"I love you Mrs. Hood." I say and she laughs.

"I love you Mr. Hood." Things were going great.

That's when I saw Vic looking at me and Maria.

Maria look terrified and upset.

She knows.

I look back at Lexi trying to ignore everything.

"Everything alright?" She whispers in my ear.

"I think Maria knows I'm her brother." I whisper back and she looks at me.

"It'll be okay." She runs my hand.

The song slowly ends and I kiss her again.

This girl who I thought I'd never like is now my wife and I-..... I love her.
