Chapter 15

Lexi pov

I blush as Calum hovers above me. His hands beside my head. I smile and he looks down at me. In a situation the couple would end up kissing. My goal was to get the apple from him. I mean we're not a real couple so we don't have to kiss. That is until we hear the door open and he immediately kisses me. I kiss back immediately and he drops the apple. Forgetting it. He cups my cheek as he kisses me getting more passionate. I pull away softly and look up to see who's at the door. Calum looks up with me and buries his head in my neck. Luke. He rolls his eyes.

"Lexi the castle needs you." He says and walks out shutting my door.

"Calum what the crap?" I ask and he shrugs.

"I mean we have to keep faking it." He says.

"You didn't have to kiss me." I say as I pull on my sweater.

"You didn't have to peck my lips but you did." He says and I bite my lip. He's right.

The fact was before Vic I liked Calum a lot. But in time I fell in love with Vic. Yeah I'll always like Calum a little but he's absolutely in love with Maria and I'm falling so hard for Vic. Calum grabs me by the hips and pulls me towards him as he sits on the bed.

"We'll figure something out." He says looking at my ring. I sigh and sit down grabbing my other pants.

"Can you uhh..." I blush and he turns. I pull my other pants down watching him carefully and that's when I'm tackled.

"Ugh Calum." I say and he laughs.

"I've seen you with your bra and underwear on before."

"You should really knock." I say pushing him off of me and pulling my other pants on.

"Alright I have to go to the castle." I say and smile.

"I'll walk you there with Mikey. I haven't hung out with him in a while." He says and we call Mikey.

The 4 year old comes running to us in an instant. I was excited to walk with him since I haven't spent much time with the green eyed boy since the whole getting married deal. We walk out the door me and Calum holding Mikey's hands. I see the castle coming up and I sigh. I just really wanted to talk to Calum about this whole deal.

"Why do they need you?" Calum asks looking over at me.

"I don't know. Maybe Vic?" I say and he nods.

"Probably." He says and I pick Mikey up.

"I'll see you later bud." I say and kiss him on the cheek. I peck Calum on the lips and give him Mikey.

"No candy." I chuckle and see Vic waiting for me. What now?

Calum pov

"Mikey you wanna go get candy?" I ask and he nods his head quickly.

The toddler reaches his hands up and I pick him up. We walk through the town people awing at us. I smile and we get some candy and I manage to sneak an apple for me and Lexi later. Me and Mikey walk to his home and Ashton smiles at us. We ended up talking the whole time. Luke glared at me and I finally got annoyed.

"Luke what is your deal with me?" I ask him softly so his brothers won't hear.

"You're about to get married to my sister." He says.

"Yeah so?"

"I just- I don't want her to get hurt." He says and I nod.

"Luke I love your sister okay? I won't hurt her ever." I say. It wasn't a lie. I do love the girl but only as I friend. I think of Maria. I love her.

"Promise me."

"I promise Luke." I say and he smiles.

He really does care about Lexi. I wouldn't blame him I care about her too. My mind lingers a minute. I feel like I'll hurt Maria. I love her so much. I just want her to be happy and she can't with me. I'm a screw over. I like my best friend that I'm apparently engaged to and I'm in love with a royal. I want Maria. I want to marry her though. She's a royal though. I'm a peasant. I put on a fake smile and entertain myself with Mikey. What am I gonna do?
