Chapter 29

Lexi pov

~1 Week Later~

How can you carry a child while you're so damn depressed. I scream as I throw the plate towards the wall. I burst into tears and slide down the kitchen door. I saw Calum talking to some girl. She's so pretty. Prettier than I am and she's skinny. I mean I bet he likes her more. I could see him liking her. I'm getting emotional. Thanks depression/pregnancy. I breath heavily as I feel a headache coming, preventing me from crying. I wheeze and take huge breaths.

"Lex- What the hell?" I hear Calum walk in.

Wait till he sees the kitchen.

"Lexi- Oh my god." He looks at the mess I made.

I look up at him and sigh knowing I'm going to have to tell him. Cause one day I won't be well this skinny and- I'm going to be fat. At that thought I put my head in my arms and let little tears fall.

"Baby what's wrong?" Calum kneels beside me.

"Calum I'm pregnant." I say and hang my head in shame.

"Oh Lexi, why didn't you tell me?" He lifts my head and looks in my teary dark brown eyes.

"I didn't know how." And it's not yours. I think as he hugs me.

"I love you." He says and I hug him tightly.

"I love you too." I say and kiss him.

"Now baby why did you make this mess?" He asks and I yell at him.

"That girl! She's skinny! Beautiful! Smart! I'm gonna be fat! Oh my god Calum I'm gonna be so fat!" I let tears fall. He grabs me and hugs me. He whispers sweet nothings in my ear. I pull back and look at him.

"I need to go to the castle." I say and he nods.

"Wait I need to tell Luke-" I let tears fall.

"There's no more Luke. He left us." I clutch onto Calum.

"Okay let's take you to your house, tell your mom." He says and I nod. The walk to my house was short lived. I open the door and close it quietly.

"Momma I need to tell you something." I say and tell Calum to wait. I walk into the kitchen and open the door.

"Ashton." I say and he turns.

"Lexi..." He says and I advert my eyes to my mom. I kneel in front of her carefully.

"Momma." I say softly.

"Yes?" She smiles and it looks just like Luke's. I clear my throat.

"I'm pregnant. You're gonna be a grandmother." I say and she gasps.

"Oh that's great!" She says and hugs me. I smile and turn around towards Ashton.

"You're an uncle. Congratulations." I say and walk away.

"Come on Calum, castle." I say and he nods. We walk to the castle and I see the steps.

"I need to speak to Vic." I tell the guards and they nod.

"Can you uhh go Calum." I ask and he nods. He leaves just as Vic walks out.

"Lexi?"

"Vic.... I'm pregnant." I say looking up in his eyes.

"You're a dad." I finish and he stares at me and I lock eyes with him.

Calum pov

I slowly take in everything that just happened. Lexi is pregnant. Ashton's an asshole. I'm going to raise a kid with Lexi.

"Oh my god." Everything just really hit me.

"Calum?" I turn and see Maria. Shit. No not now.

"Uhh h-hi."

"What's going on?" She asks.

"Well uhh Lexi she's uhh-" I rub the back of my neck.

"She's?"

"She's pregnant." I say and smile.

"Oh that's great! Me and Ashton have been trying." She smiles.

"You're 19 he's 16." I furrow my eyebrows.

"Almost 17." She correct me.

"You guys are too young." I say and she frowns.

"Isn't Lexi too young?" She raises an eyebrow.

"She's almost 20. I'm 23. Difference."

"Same 3 year gap." She says and I frown.

"But we're not 16 and 19. We're grown ups. Not 16 year old father or 19 and pregnant." I say and she scoffs.

"Yeah okay." She rolls her eyes.

"I'm just trying to help you!" I yell.

"Yeah well maybe I don't want your help!" She glares at me.

"Fine I just cared about you well screw that!" I yell and walk to me and Lexi's house.

Screw it. I know I'm right. I'm just trying to protect her. She knows it too. I know she's happy with Ashton but they just need to hold on. I unlock our house and look at the mess.

"Better clean this up." I mumble and start cleaning it up.

What if up Fothermuckers! Lexi here! It's one of those days....... I don't know I know it was Christmas but I'm still on my bed crying and now I have a major headache and I can't cry anymore. Anyway I'm okay I guess.
