Savannah's POV

I went to the bakery early and began to bake some scrumptious chocolate brownies.

I took them out of the oven and sniffed them, which smelled amazing. "Hey, Savvy," I looked up and saw Griffin grinning like an idiot, which he is.

I rolled my eyes at him and placed the brownies on a pink tray. He came closer to me and lifted my chin.

"No hello?" he asked with wide eyes.

I shook my head. "Nope." I popped the 'p', as I said it.

"Savvy, come with me."

"No, thank you. I have an important task to attend to."

"It just looks like brownies to me."

"Listen, Griffin, I'm supposed to do my job. I don't want to disappoint your mom."

I left Griffin and grabbed a broom from the rack. I began to sweep the floor and looked up to see Griffin approaching me with his mother.

Mrs. Clarke smiled at me warmly. "You can go with Griffin. Just be back before lunch." she announced.

I nodded at her and raised an eyebrow at Griffin. "So, where are we going?" I asked with worry. He chuckled at me, as we walked out of the bakery.

The cold weather welcomed us and I shivered. "We are going shopping, if you must know." he responded with a smirk. Does he ever stop smirking? I feel like he always smirks!

He grabbed my hand and our hands intertwined. I was shocked by his action and had a feeling in my stomach, like I was going to throw up. It was probably because of his nasty cooties and I'm going to get infected with them.

I looked at him with wide eyes but he just smiled at me, ignoring the fact that we were holding hands. I thought we were enemies!

We ended up at an Aeropostale clothing store and I quirked an eyebrow. "Why are we shopping?" I asked and was still confused. "I need new clothes and I need a shopping buddy," he looked at me and pouted. "Pretty please, my sugar angel."

I sighed because I knew I had to give in to the puppy dog eyes. Who couldn't resist them? "Fine, but I don't know why you can't ask one of your guy friends," I sighed again.

We entered the store and it was full of clothes and teenagers shopping. I saw a teenager girl, with dark brown hair, dreamily looking at Griffin (because of his looks). Then, she looked at me and glared. I guess she assumed we were together or something and got jealous. "They aren't as rich as you," Griffin said with a smirk. Oh, so he's using me because I'm rich? Wow, how shallow!

"I'm not paying for your clothes, that you must have."

"Please, Savvy. I'll buy something for you!"

"Then, what's the purpose of me buying something, if you can just buy something yourself."

"Savannah."

"Griffin!"

"Please, Savannah."

"Fine! Just go buy your clothes!"

"Thank you, Savvy!" he said with a smile, while I grunted at him

He grabbed my hand, as we power walked to the men's section of clothes. I watched Griffin, as he looked through a bunch of clothes. There were flannels, v-necks, t-shirts, dress shirts, and so much more.

"Ew! Ugly! Terrible! What were they thinking?" Griffin muttered under his breath.

I began to giggle at him and he turned around to look at me with a confused facial expression. "I love how you talk to yourself," I explained through giggles. "It's good to know you aren't to cocky."

"I wasn't talking about myself, sugar angel. I was talking about these awful looking clothes," he said with a smirk. "Plus, you know I'm very attractive and not ugly." he winked at me, and then continued his search for decent clothes.

I rolled my eyes at his cockiness. "Whatever, dude," I responded and walked away from him. I found a cushioned chair, near the fitting rooms, and plopped on it.

Minutes later, Griffin approached me with a pile of clothes in his hands. I gasped at him, hoping he wouldn't buy all of it. Wait, it's Griffin. Of course, he will buy it all! He saw my face and laughed. "Just trying these on, Savvy." he explained and then walked into a fitting room.

He came out in a black t-shirt with some sort of superhero design and decided to strike a pose.

He wiggled his eyebrows at me. "I'm hot, aren't I?"

I shook my head at him. "The shirt looks nice, but you ruined it."

He grumbled at me. "Picky, feisty, and witty. I like it."

I frowned at him. What was that supposed to mean? Before I could ponder on that topic, Griffin came out in a dark blue shirt.

He shouted at me, as he posed. "I'm buying this and it cost one hundred dollars!"

My eyes widened in terror. "One hundred dollars! What am I, rich?"

He smirked at me. "Yeah, you are." It's true, but I'm not going to waste a hundred bucks on him.

"I'm not wasting my money on your needs!" I shouted at him, ignoring the looks from other customers. They probably think we're crazy and rowdy, but I don't care.

"You're no fun! It's just fifteen dollars, Savvy." he sighed at me, as he made his way toward me.

I gave him a look while we walked to the cashier. He just smiled at me, as if nothing was wrong. I shook my head at him, disapprovingly.

We walked to the cashier and I payed for his shirt. By the time we left the store, I just remembered he was going to buy me something.

I tugged on his coat sleeve and he raised his eyebrows. "Something wrong, my sugar angel?" he asked with a worried expression. "You were supposed to buy me something," I responded with a pout. "Did you forget?"

He shook his head at me and chuckled deeply. His dimples appeared and he looked adorable, not hot. "I can buy you a cotton candy. I've heard you have a sweet tooth." he continued to smile at me.

He walked away from me and towards a stand that sold sweets and hot chocolate. I shivered from the cold weather and did a happy dance to stay warm.

He came back with a smile plastered on his face. "I love your terrible dancing," he chuckled at me, as he handed me a cotton candy. I gladly took it and nibbled on the pink and blue sugar. "Plus, you remind me of a little, adorable bunny!" he cooed at me. Now, I think he's making fun of me.

He wrapped an arm around my waist, tugging me closer to him. I was shocked again by his action, yet grateful because I was now warm.

"Thank you, Griffin."

"You're welcome, my sugar angel bunny."
