Savannah's POV

I sat on the white couch, munching on delicious popcorn with a lot of butter. My favorite movie, My Fair Lady, was on and Eliza Doolittle* was singing about dancing all night.

"Savannah!" Mackenzie shouted, trying to gain my attention.

I looked over at her, as she continued to paint her nails a gold color. "What?"

"Do this with me!" she pleaded.

"I hate nail polish," I muttered.

"Why? Every girl likes it!" Mackenzie pouted.

"The smell gives me a headache and I just don't like it," I explained and continued to watch the screen.

Griffin plopped down next to me and stole a handful of buttery popcorn from me. "Thank you, Savvy."

I rolled my eyes at him. "Next time, ask for popcorn. It's not my fault you had to use the bathroom."

"Well, I'm eating your popcorn, anyway!" he shouted and took another handful of popcorn.

I gasped at him and tried to take it from his hands, which caused the contents to fall to the floor. We both looked at each other and then, at the floor, with wide eyes.

Griffin immediately landed on the floor, eating the popcorn off the floor.

"Ew, Griffin!"

"Five second roll!" he shouted and scrambled back on the couch.

We both began to eat handfuls of popcorn from the bowl, watching the movie. I stopped caring about Griffin stealing my food and continued to eat.

Mackenzie coughed to gain my attention. "I'm surprised you don't like painting your nails, when you love to paint on canvas."

I rolled my eyes at her. Why are we talking about this, again? She should just drop the topic and continue to do what she is doing.

Griffin scrunched up his nose in disgust and looked at Mackenzie. "That stuff is making me want to gag and throw up this popcorn."

Mackenzie gasped at us. "You guys don't appreciate anything!"

Mackenzie got up and stormed into the kitchen, doing whatever she is doing. I sighed at her sudden outburst, wondering why she is so emotional. Maybe, she is stressed? Or she has anger management problems? If she does, I can just buy a session with a therapist, as a Christmas gift. I smiled at my wonderful idea of the perfect Christmas gift.

"You might want to pack for our road trip, tomorrow," Griffin suggested, interrupting my train of thoughts.

I slapped my forehead. "You're right!"

I took off running up the stairs and into my bedroom. I grabbed a suitcase, off a shelf in the closet, and started to pack my clothes.

"Need help?" Griffin asked, as he stood in my bedroom doorway.

I shrugged at him. "Sure."

He came beside me and stared at what I packed. "You need some pajamas, warm ones."

I took three pairs of pajamas from a drawer and folded them neatly, placing them in the suitcase. I packed a small pillow, a blanket, hygienic products, a flashlight, a camera, a taser, a spray bottle of pepper spray, and so much more.

He smiled at me. "This will be a fun road trip, Savvy."

I rolled my suitcase down the stairs and set it near the door, so I wouldn't forget it, tomorrow. We both walked back to the living room and sat on the couch.

"We should play Truth or Dare!" Griffin shouted.

Mackenzie quickly ran out of the kitchen and plopped on the sofa. "I heard Truth or Dare! Let's play!"

I rolled my eyes at her enthusiasm. "Sure."

"I go first!" Mackenzie exclaimed. "Truth or Dare, Savannah?"

"Truth."

"What color is your underwear?" Mackenzie asked with a mischievous smile.

I gaped at her with wide eyes of shock. "Ew! Why would I tell you that?"

She laughed at me. "Just answer the question, Vanna."

I sighed, as I picked at a loose strand of my clothes. "They're light blue with Winnie the Pooh."

Griffin and Mackenzie laughed at my answer, which caused me to glare at them. "My turn. Griffin, truth or dare."

"Dare!"

"Call someone on your contacts and sing a song," I responded.

Griffin took out his phone and scrolled through his contacts, finding the right one. He put his phone on speaker and we waited for the person to pick up.

"Hello?" someone asked.

"It's me. I was wondering if after all these years you'd like to meet," Griffin responded in a deep voice.

"Stalker!" the girl shouted at the top of her lungs.

Griffin chuckled. "Hey, I just met you, and this is crazy! But here's my number, so call me maybe!" Griffin sang in a girly voice.

"Ahhhh! Leave me alone!" the girl continued to scream.

Griffin ended the call with a sigh. "That was fun."

I began to laugh. "Who was that?"

"A girl, who I dated," Griffin answered.

I looked over at Mackenzie and saw her with a hurt expression. I felt sorry for her, that she has to go through this a lot. Maybe, they will fall in love, if this becomes some cliché best friend romance.

Author's Note: First, I don't like this chapter at all. I feel like this was a terrible one. I had to re-write this so many times, unsatisfied with it. The next one will be better.
