Savannah's POV

"Oh my gosh, Griffin! That is disgusting and I'm scarred for life, again!" I shouted, as I shielded my eyes.

Before me, stood a half-naked Griffin, who was wearing a white towel around his waist. His hair was wet, making his hair look brown, and the water dripped down his long eyelashes. His temporary dark hair made his blue eyes pop and they became even brighter.

"You're adorable, Savvy," he cooed at me.

I rolled my eyes at him. "Just put on a shirt!" I shouted again.

"You can't handle my looks without admiring me?" he asked with amusement.

I gagged at him, causing him to chuckle. "Put on a shirt, now," I demanded.

"Bossy," he retorted.

He took out a gray t-shirt with an eagle on it and threw it on. He was about to take his pants off too, but I shoved him into the bathroom.

He laughed loudly. "Oh, Savannah!"

Minutes later, he came out of the bathroom fully dressed into his pajamas. He had on his gray eagle t-shirt and red plaid pajama pants, while I was in a red long-sleeved pajama shirt and puppy pants.

"Time for bed!" Griffin announced.

He jumped on the bed and settled down, snuggling with a blanket and two pillows. I rolled my eyes at him, as I settled in the bed too. I kept my distance from him, but he scooted closer to me and smiled.

"Night, my Sugar Angel," he whispered.

I stretched my arm to reach the lamp on the bedside table and turned it off. "Good night, my little cookie."

I closed my eyes, waiting for sleep to approach me, but it didn't happen. I was still wide-awake so I turned around to watch Griffin sleeping like a kitten. He snored quietly and he had a small smile on his lips. Who smiles, when they sleep? That is just plain creepy.

I decided that I should stop watching him since I look like a complete stalker. I was about to turn the other way until I felt a warm arm around my waist. I looked down on the arm, realizing that it belonged to Griffin. What was he thinking? Someone get him off of me!

I tried to pry his arm off of me, but it remained firmly and protectively around my waist. After five minutes of trying, I gave up.

All of a sudden, he pulled me closer to him and I could feel his hot breath on me. I nearly vomited in my mouth because of Griffin.

"Savannah," Griffin muttered in his sleep.

I groaned in frustration. This was going to be a very long night.

My eyes fluttered opened and I saw darkness in the room. I turned my head around and saw a sleeping Griffin, who was very close to me. I nearly screamed at the sight of him, but I controlled my crazy self.

Seconds later, I lightly pinched him and he woke up with a girly scream.

He sat up and glared at me. "Really? I was having a dream, you know!" Griffin shouted.

"Was it about me?" I joked.

"Now, that I think of it. It was more of a nightmare," Griffin replied with a smirk.

I pushed him off the bed and he glared at me again. "Hypocrite."

He furrowed his eyebrows at me. "What?"

"Last night, you had your arm around me. I bet you like me!" I exclaimed.

He got up and eyed me from head to toe. Finally, he spoke up. "If I ever like you, I would be a crazy guy," he scoffed.

He walked to the window and pushed the curtains aside. He grinned at the sight of the outside world and beckoned me to go to the window. I followed him, wondering why he was so excited.

The moment I came to the window, I saw it. Snowflakes fell from the sky and the grounds were white and soft. It was true, we were going to have a snowstorm.

"Let's go outside!" Griffin exclaimed.

Minutes later, we were both dressed in warm clothes. We immediately walked outside, as the snow crunched beneath our feet. Snowflakes delicately fell on us and I stuck out my tongue, as a miniature snowflake melted on it. I looked around and saw trees, buildings, and cars enveloped in snow. It was definitely a Winter Wonderland.

"Do you want to build a snowman?" I asked with excitement.

"Sure," Griffin responded.

I took a small ball of snow and began to roll it down the snowy grounds, making the snowball bigger. Griffin did the same, but his was bigger than mine.

After an hour in the snow, we made our snowman. We used small rocks as eyes, buttons, and a mouth. I found some sticks, which we used as arms, while Griffin found a carrot and used it for the nose.

I sat down in the snow, admiring the snowman. Griffin plopped down next to me and smiled mischievously. "We should make snow angels, Sugar Angel."

He positioned himself on the snow and I did the same. We moved our arms and legs, creating snow angels.

The powdery snow gave the both of us delicate, cold kisses. Suddenly, I heard Griffin chuckle beside me and I turned around.

"This is fun," Griffin commented.

"Yeah," I replied.

We both got up to admire our beautiful snow angels. The angels were art done in the snow yet they were so simple.

"Savvy?" Griffin asked, interrupting my thoughts.

"What?"

"You look beautiful with the snowflakes in your hair. You're like a natural beauty in disguise," Griffin whispered, as if it was a secret.

"Why are you telling me this?" I asked with shock.

"Because I know you always put yourself down," Griffin explained. He walked behind me and placed his big, warm hands on my shoulders. "Open your eyes, Savannah. You are amazing and I want you to stop comparing yourself to others. You told me to stop comparing myself to my father and I want you to do the same. You should be confident with who you are and who you want to be."

I nodded at him, as my eyes became teary. Griffin was right, I always put myself down and it shatters my confidence. I guess we both have something in common: we were trying to be someone else.

Griffin looked at me and lifted my chin up. "I stopped cutting for you. Now, I want you to love yourself for me."

A tear escaped from my eyes and he brushed it away with his thumb. We stared into each other's eyes for a while, until I broke contact.

"Come on, we should get inside," Griffin announced.

He intertwined his hand with mine and we walked back to the hotel. As we walked, I realized something big.

Griffin heard me crying, that one day, and he actually cares about me.

Author's Note: It's weird how a simple compliment can mean a lot of things.
