Savannah's POV
Someone was shaking me, hard.
My eyes fluttered open and saw a face near mine. I could smell his breath, which was minty, and his face had some stubble. His bright blue eyes pierced into mine and I almost got a heart attack from the sight of them.
"Griffin?"
He ruffled my hair and chuckled. "Hello, babe."
I pushed him away and shoved the covers off of me. I yawned loudly and lazily looked around my room. Seconds later, realization hit me. Why was he here? What day was today?
"I thought we should get an early start," Griffin explained, reading my mind.
I jumped out of bed and looked for my alarm clock, which read 8 o'clock. I guess I should start getting ready. I was about to head to the bathroom to take a shower, until I froze. "Wait, how did you get in here?" I asked, as I turned around to face him.
"I jumped over the gates, climbed a tree, and unlocked your window with a bobby pin," Griffin explained, as he smirked at me.
I nodded at him, as if that was a normal thing to do, and headed to the bathroom to take my shower.

*The sky was bright blue and the sun was shining brightly. It was the perfect day to play outside, but I was in a car with Griffin, dancing to a song.
"You watch me bleed until I can't breathe. Shaking, falling onto my knees!" I sang loudly, as I swayed in my seat.
"And now that I'm without your kisses. I'll be needing stitches!"
Tripping over myself. Aching, begging you to come help. And now that I'm without your kisses. I'll be needing stitches!" Griffin belted out, as he danced along to the music too.The song ended, but we continued to sway our hands in the air. Cars, that passed by, gave us weird looks, but we just laughed it off.
"Are you hungry?" Griffin asked, interrupting my awesome dance moves.
"I could eat something," I responded, as my stomach growled.
Griffin nodded at me and minutes later, we arrived at a small café. We both scrambled out of the car, as the cold weather hit us.
We entered the café and there was no one inside, besides the workers. It was quite small and had a home-like aura to it. There were a couple of tables and two booths with small menus. The aroma of coffee and muffins was in the air, which was quite enjoyable.
Griffin guided me to a small table with two chairs and we looked at the menu. Minutes later, a waitress came up to us to hear our order. She was an old lady with white hair and wrinkles, but her warm smile stood out.
"I would like a peppermint mocha and a huge slice of chocolate cake!" Griffin exclaimed.
The old lady chuckled and faced towards me. "I would like a peppermint hot chocolate and five croissants," I responded.
She left us to get our orders and I looked at Griffin, who began to laugh at me. "What?" I asked with a frown.
"I didn't know you were that hungry," Griffin responded with a smirk.
"I told you I'm starving and it's rude to point that out," I stated, causing him to roll his eyes.
Five minutes later, our food came. I took a sip out of my peppermint hot chocolate, which tasted amazing. The chocolate was rich and the peppermint added a minty taste in my mouth.
I placed the hot chocolate down and saw Griffin staring at me. I raised my eyebrows at him, but he continued to stare at me.
"Is something wrong?" I asked.
"Nope," he answered, popping the 'p'.
I sighed at him. "Whatever, dude."
He took out his silver fork and scooped up some chocolate cake with it. "You should try this."
"No, thanks," I answered.
"Please!"
"No."
"Yes!"
"Griffin."
"Savannah."
I rolled my eyes at him. "Fine." I was about to take the fork out of his hand, but he tsked at me.
"I'm feeding it to you, Savvy!" he chirped happily.
He moved his fork of cake in the air, playing airplane, and placed the fork gently in my mouth. I took a bite of the cake and the taste of chocolate made my taste buds grow weak. The chocolate was so fine and rich in flavor.
He laughed at me. "My turn, Savvy."
I rolled my eyes at his childish behavior. "Anything for you, baby."
I took the fork from his hand and scooped up some cake. I fed the piece of cake to him, which made him grin like an idiot.
"I'm your baby," he said with a wink.
"Yeah, a cry baby," I responded.
He poured at me, looking like an adorable baby. "You're a meanie!"
I rolled my eyes at him and then, took a huge bite out of a croissant. Minutes later, we finished our food and paid the waitress.
We got to the car, getting ready for the ride. The journey awaits.
