chapter sixty-three: second chances

My eyes are sore from crying all night;
I'm filled bruises and scars for trying to put up a fight;

I've tried so hard to get up but it feels like I'm stuck in the ground with no means of stepping up.

You left me all alone, in the midst of it all;
You were ready to move on while I was still holding on to the promise that you'll catch me if I fall.

And on top of that all, you also killed me a thousand more despite of me trying to give you a second chance.

And so I decided that this is it, your time is up because this is me finally giving up, because if I have learned one thing from you?

It's this:

Not everybody deserves a second chance, sometimes the one who deserves it more is you.
