five / sometimes it's okay for a few hours

When Louis walked into the flat he felt empty inside, but he couldn't put his finger on why he felt this way. He knew he wouldn't be alone this night because Harry was right him and he told Louis that he wasn't planning on going out tonight. This was what Louis wanted for so long, which only brought up more questions.

Maybe he was feeling empty because the only thing that filled his stomach was the water that he drank the entire day to prevent his stomach from growling around his friends. Louis just knew that he would be forced to eat if anyone would hear his stomach making noises. No one questioned Louis not eating today when there was a buffet at the rehearsals and Louis was weirdly proud of himself for managing not to eat even though he was aware that this wasn't the right way to lose weight, not by far.

Or maybe, which was more likely, it was because Harry was there, but he wasn't there in the way Louis would want Harry to be there. Harry wouldn't wrap his arms around Louis' fragile body when they were watching a movie, he wouldn't place a soft kiss on Louis' caramel-colored hair when Louis was almost asleep, soft snores escaping his thin lips, but the worst thing was that Harry wouldn't kiss Louis in the gentle, loving way that Louis always imagined when he was laying in his bed at night.

Harry would be there as Louis' best friend when to Louis the curly-haired boy was way more than just a best friend, he just didn't know and Louis didn't plan on letting Harry know, afraid of losing the last bit of friendship the two boys had left.

Louis let out a huge sigh and kicked his shoes off, watching them land in the corner of the room, but Louis didn't bother to pick them up to carry them to his room as he hung his coat on the hallstand.

He then walked into the living room where he dumped down on the arm chair as Harry entered the room. Louis' eyes followed every movement of Harry and the tall boy sat down on the couch across of Louis, stretching his body and a blissful sigh escaped his plump, unbelievably kissable lips and Louis had problems with tearing his eyes away from the lips.

"What do you want to do tonight? I'm all yours," Harry said and looked at Louis who blushed in a deep red, thinking that Harry had caught him staring even though he didn't.

I'm all yours; these words rang in Louis' head and he had problems focusing on giving Harry an answer and it caused him to get even more nervous. He silently questioned if it was a good idea to be all alone with Harry.

"Do you want to watch a movie? We could order take-out. I'm in the mood for Chinese food, but if you're up for Italian it's fine with me, too," Harry said in attempt to break the silence and Louis simply nodded, not trusting his words in this seconds and Harry smiled at his smaller friend.

The tall boy pushed himself off the couch and left the room, only to return a few seconds later with brochures in his hand. Harry smiled at Louis.

"Italian or Chinese?" Harry asked in his deep, raspy voice and Louis swore that Harry could hear his heartbeat, and his palms were getting sweaty every time Louis looked at Harry.

It was almost ridiculous how nervous Harry could make Louis, and Louis had no explanation for it, it just happened. It was okay as long as other people were with them, but as soon as it was just him and Harry he transformed into a clumsy, socially-awkward person and embarrassed himself more than he would like to admit.

Louis hated the feeling because he felt like Harry could look right through him as if Louis was made of glass, but he couldn't stop himself from acting like this either. It wasn't helpful because sometimes Louis felt unable to speak and he just stared at his best friend and the self-hate he felt was increasing in this moment, reaching an unhealthy point that could be considered as dangerous if one would ask a therapist.
