🎃 Fate Perkins - Nov. 3, 2015

This was the first time that I actually got up at a decent time before my shift at the restaurant, with enough time to make Blake and I breakfast as well as being able to walk her to her job where conveniently, my boyfriend works and has my regular latte ready.

When I walk through the door, Blake immediately going behind the counter and putting on her apron, I instantly see Harry. He's looking down on the drink he was preparing, clearly concentrating hard because he didn't flinch at all when the bell chimed to signal mine and Blake's arrival. I had a hunch that the drink he was working on was mine - and mostly because no other customer was present since they haven't opened yet.

I walk towards the side of the counter where he worked, resting my arms on the smooth wood as I watch him. He has his eyebrows furrowed, with the occasional tongue poking out. It was an adorable sight to see and it got me wondering if he was like this with every other drink I've ordered from him because I never really watched him prepare my drink.

My heart fluttered at the chance that he might've.

"You look like you're trying to diffuse a bomb." I decide to make my presence known, causing him to jump slightly in surprise, almost spilling the coffee in his hand. His wide eyes meet my gaze, soon relaxing and letting them squint to comply with his smile. I smile back at him.

"Hey, babe," he greets, placing the beverage down onto the counter. His hands then rest on counter beside my arms, his thumbs jutting out to rub circles onto my elbow and to do this, he has to lean in, causing him to be closer to me.

"Hey." It was amazing really, how he was such a nervous wreck when he was around me and now that we've had that night, that connection, that kiss, he was confident to be the person he is. Not the overly shy guy who could barely look me in the eyes.

He leans in closer to me, bending his elbows so he could do so. "Be lucky I don't get scared easy because if I did, your latte would be all over the floor."

"It's funny how you don't get scared easy but you can't scare at all." I lean in as well, a teasing smile on my lip at his offended expression.

He leaned in closer, his nose bumping mine. "Take that back."

"I cannot take the truth back." Our foreheads were now touching.

"I'm going to kiss you if you don't take you back."

"What a horrible punishment."

Harry cracks a dimpled smile then, shaking his head softly before leaning in to press a kiss to my lips. Not caring that the counter was digging into my stomach, I kissed him back. A simple kiss that made my toes curl and my lips buzz when we pulled away.

"A latte for the lovely lady," he says, leaning back and pushing the drink toward me.

We smile at each other. "Thank you, ghost."
