6 months till present day

luke's pov

"how are you doing?" i asked as i sat down next to calum. ever since michael has been in jail he'srarely left the house. i knew his thoughts have been too focused on what the poor boy was going through but it was worth a try. he shrugged his shoulders.

"do you want to talk about it?"

he shrugged.

"why did you do it if you knew you would regret it?"

he turned.

"calum, please."

he shrugged again and i pulled out my phone, typing in the number to the prison michael was in. i knew that this day would come, and he did always get a ceratin amount of hours a month. i doubt anyone has used them for him except his parents. calum didn't know i had the number as i pressed my phone to my ear.

"northwest security prison how man i help you?"a ladie's voice spoke through the phone.

"uh- yeah i was wondering if i could get a call out to michael clifford?"

calum turned around and stared at me as i looked out the window casually. "i'm sorry, but his hours have been used up. this isn't calum hood is it?" she sounded annoyed. "no this is luke hemmings." i narrowed my eyes at calum knowing he could hear the conversation.

"okay, well visiting hours are open on sunday's, six to seven."

"i guess i'll be there, thank you." i hung up the phone and dropped it on the floor.

"w-why did you do that?"

"so you've been calling him huh?"

+

"how have you been?" i chuckled lightly as michael gave me one of those 'really?' looks. "how do you think i've been doing?"

"good?"

"sure." he laughed and i smiled, having not seen the smile on his face a long time. "where's calum?"

"he's at work, has a job." i grinned and michael nodded. "he's been calling me."

"have you been picking up?" i questioned curiously and he sheepishly nodded. "i mean, i'm not mad at him. i'll find a way to get him back somehow."

"revenger is always the answer for you clifford." i rolled my eyes and he laughed again.

after the visit was over i pulled him in for a hug and pressed a kiss to his cheek before the guards could catch it. apparently he's been the goody goody, all the security guards liked him and questioned why he was even in here in the first place.

i started to make my way out of the building but froze when i saw calum lingering behind the corner. i guess i wasn't supposed to see but i walked up to him anyways and lightly placed a hand on his shoulder. he jumped, turning around and facing me. "hi?"

"you want to see him don't you?"

"i thought that you would finish early? guess not." he pouted. "does he hate me?"

"of course not, he's actually fond of you." i smiled. "he will find a way to get you back somehow though so watch your back in seven months." i giggled.

"sometimes i forget you're a baby boy hemming." he shook his head laughing and i blushed.

we made our way home, talking about ashton and somehow making our way back to michael. he didn't seem so upset about it anymore after i told him that michael didn't hate him in the slightest.

however, i'm still curious as to how michael plans on getting calum back.
